With the continuous development of education, class meeting,as one of the important positions of quality education, has been endowed with relevant themes by school educators, gradually moving towards the diversification of objectives, enrichment of content and diversification of forms.Combined with the physical and mental development characteristics of young students, teachers apply participant-themed class meetings to drug and AIDS prevention education, systematically and effectively plan class meeting activities, explore the feasibility and effectiveness of class meeting design and implementation, and play a role in class management, which can effectively enhance students’ awareness and ability of drug and AIDS prevention, thus forming a "stay away from drugs,AIDS prevention " emotional attitudes and value beliefs. With action research as the core and literature research, investigation, observation and interview as the theme, this study aims to explore the design and implementation of junior middle school participation-themed class meetings with drug control and AIDS prevention as the theme. The specific research is as follows:First,by consulting and combing literature, the author analyzed the situation of participating themed class meetings, drug and AIDS prevention education and the combination of the two, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of the action.Secondly, through the Questionnaire Survey on the Status Quo of the Anti-drug and Anti-Aids themed class Meeting in Junior Middle School and the Knowledge Test on Anti-drug and Anti-aids,we conducted an investigation on the anti-drug and anti-aids themed class meeting among Grade 2 students of X Middle School in Huizhou,Guangdong Province. The results showed as follows: There are some problems in the school, such as low frequency of themed class meetings, mere formalities of themed class meetings, incomplete grasp of basic knowledge of drug control and AIDS prevention, and insufficient enthusiasm of students to participate in drug control and AIDS prevention education.Based on this, the author takes Grade 2(1)class(52students)as the research object to formulate action plan, action content and action plan to prepare for the implementation of action.Thirdly, through three rounds of "planning-action-observation-reflection",action research was carried out on junior middle school participant-themed class meetings on drug and AIDS prevention, and the results of each round showed the advantages of participant-themed class meetings in class management. The problems and deficiencies in each round are analyzed from three dimensions of program design, activity implementation and student participation, and constantly adjusted and optimized. The first round of action is mainly exploration.Applying the preparatory work in the early stage to practical activities,we find that there are some problems in the class meeting, such as the scheme design is not rigorous enough, the group mode of students is not perfect enough, the form of content presentation is single, and the form of activity management is limited. The purpose of the second round of action is to improve.Through improving the program design, and improving the grouping mode of students, the presentation form of activity content and the diversification of activity forms, there are still problems such as insufficient participation of students, insufficient interest and innovation of activities, and insufficient practical activities of students. In the third round of action research,by making the activities more interesting and innovative and carrying out the anti-drug and anti-ai micro practice activities to mobilize students’ participation, the design and implementation of the class meeting program has been significantly improved. After nearly two months of action research, the author conducted analysis through peer evaluation, interviews between teachers and students, pre and post measurement of drug and AIDS prevention knowledge and other aspects, and the results showed that the application of participant-themed class meetings in drug and AIDS prevention education had significant effects, mainly as follows: The class meeting design tends to be scientific and reasonable, the effectiveness of the implementation of activities is constantly improved, and the participation of students and the awareness of drug and AIDS prevention are improved. However, there are still some problems such as the lack of students’ main participation in the program design, the lack of awareness of activity regulation, the lack of strength and flexibility of process management, and the lack of evaluation of themed class meetings. Therefore, the design and implementation effect of themed class meetings should be further improved by collecting class meeting design opinions from students, flexibly adjusting activity plans, strengthening activity management, and establishing a systematic evaluation system. Finally, the author introspected and prospected the design and implementation of the participant-themed class meeting: It is necessary to strengthen the diversified analysis of the effect of research design, including increasing the quantifiable analysis index and sample number of research effect, and further improving the design of research tools. At the same time,it is also necessary to strengthen the fit degree of themed class meetings with drug and AIDS prevention education, and explore the integration and promotion of participatory themed class meetings with other themed education.
