With the development of education,the professional development of teachers has also received more and more attention.In the context of the new curriculum reform,teachers can no longer meet the requirements of contemporary society for teachers by just being a good "teacher",and teachers should become a "researcher".Educational and scientific research capability is the basic ability that teachers should have,and it is also the key for teachers to become "researchers".Young primary school teachers as part of the group of teachers at the compulsory education stage,their quality development is related to the quality development of the teaching community.At present,young primary school teachers have high teaching enthusiasm and strong learning ability,showing a high teaching level,but their educational and scientific research ability development is not satisfactory.Based on the theory of achievement motivation and the theory of teachers’ professional development,used the literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to find that the development of the educational and scientific research ability of young primary school teachers mainly exists in the following aspects: the ability of discover and select problems needs to be improved;the data collation ability should be paid attention to;the program design ability needs to be urgently improved;the ability to write papers is relatively weak;and the ability to disseminate and apply results is the weakest.The main factors related to the development of this ability of young primary school teachers are: Teachers’ education and scientific research literacy is low;the construction of school education and scientific research environment needs to be strengthened;and local education management departments lack corresponding support.To improve the development of education and scientific research capabilities,teachers themselves,schools,local education management departments and teacher training institutions have the responsibility.Teachers themselves need to improve their educational and scientific research literacy,correct the attitude,strengthen theoretical learning,and actively participate in some related activities;schools should build a good scientific research environment,increase relevant capital investment,formulate incentive policies,and reduce the burden on teachers;local governments should establish regional famous teacher studios to attract many teachers to join,teachers set up study groups,coordinated development,and innovate teacher development models;pre-service training and on-the-job training are combined.
