| The current new curriculum mentions that the teaching of art appreciation courses is crucial to the development of the overall quality of students. At a time when the teaching of art appreciation courses is diverse, better implementation of teaching is currently a hot topic of research at our country and abroad. However, given the varying standards of art teachers and the generally uneven distribution of teaching resources, there is an urgent need for efficient and reliable teaching strategies to address the existing problems. This paper explores the theoretical foundations and instructional strategy of "heterogeneous class" in secondary art education and develops a targeted "heterogeneous class" practice. It is of great practical importance for the theoretical definition and practical application of the "heterogeneous class" teaching method. This paper has collected the current state of research and the background to the study of "heterogeneous class" in the arts through literature research in relevant databases and libraries, and has learnt that "heterogeneous class" has both a flexible and rich form of implementation and a profound theoretical connotation. This paper discusses the theoretical basis of the existing research and the theoretical connotations of the art discipline. In this paper, the existing theoretical basis and the lack of conceptual clarity are used to organise and innovatively categorise the organisation of "heterogeneous class",and to analyse the current teaching situation in high school art courses from the perspective of comparing the differences between traditional group preparation and "heterogeneous class".This is an analysis of the current teaching situation in high school art appreciation courses. The analysis of the questionnaire provides an insight into the difficulties of implementing "heterogeneous class" in high school art education and provides a reference for the implementation of "heterogeneous class".The study will be followed by the construction of a strategy for the implementation of the art appreciation curriculum and will conclude with suggestions for improvement. In the practical teaching study, one of the lessons from the high school appreciation class was used as a case study to pre-teach and analyse the pros and cons of classroom teaching in the campus art gallery of the target institution to understand the dimensions of classroom teaching. The case study was conducted through a combination of lecture presentation and a micro-grid teaching platform, which broke the traditional format of "heterogeneous class" lesson planning and allowed teachers to better identify, analyse and solve problems in a one-on-one teaching activity. This model not only presents new ideas for teaching resolving plan, but also allows teachers to sharpen their understanding of theoretical knowledge in the process of practice, thus improving teachers’ teaching skills and cultivating students’ aesthetic judgement in the core literacy of high school art appreciation in the practical classroom. |
