| With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum reform,today’s scholars and teachers have gradually realized the importance of reading to students’ development,and the teaching of reading throughout the book has also received widespread attention.The unified edition of primary school Chinese textbooks is dedicated to cultivating students’ reading awareness.A new column "Happy Reading" has been added to each textbook.The setting of this column has largely solved the problem of marginalization of extracurricular reading.,to realize the curriculum of extracurricular reading.Combining the "Happy Reading" column with the whole book reading teaching in the upper grades of primary school is a requirement for the continuous and in-depth reform of the Chinese curriculum,and it is also a practical need for the whole book reading teaching of the unified Chinese textbook.In order to carry out the whole book reading teaching more scientifically,this study combines the actual situation of the whole book reading teaching under the "Happy Reading" column of the current primary school Chinese teachers,and puts forward relevant suggestions,in order to provide some reference for front-line teachers.This study uses the literature research method to sort out the research status of the "Happy Reading" column and the whole book reading teaching in the upper grades of primary school Chinese,define the relevant concepts of the whole book reading teaching,and sort out the theoretical basis.Through the method of questionnaire survey and interview,this paper selects the Chinese teachers in the upper grades of primary schools in two cities to carry out investigation and research,and analyzes the whole book reading teaching concepts,whole book reading teaching ideas of the Chinese teachers in the upper grades of primary schools under the column "Happy Reading" Planning,whole book reading teaching guidance and whole book reading teaching evaluation.It is found that there are many problems in the implementation of the whole book reading teaching in the upper grades of primary school Chinese.The main manifestations are: teachers’ understanding of the whole book reading teaching function is shallow and one-sided,there are deviations in the establishment of the whole book reading teaching goals,and the reading plan is determined by teachers.Unified arrangement,lack of student participation,insufficient guidance on students’ reading methods of the whole book,and imperfect evaluation mechanism for the teaching of whole book reading.Through the attribution analysis of these problems,the main reasons for these problems are: teachers lack the study of the whole book reading teaching theory,teachers’ teaching tasks are heavy and their energy is limited,and schools do not pay enough attention to the whole book reading teaching.Through a series of questionnaires and teacher interviews,through careful analysis and summary of the collected data and interview contents,it is found that there are many problems in the implementation of the whole book reading teaching in the senior Chinese of primary school,mainly including teachers’ superficial understanding of the role of the whole book reading teaching,the deviation in the establishment of the whole book reading teaching goal The reading plan is uniformly arranged by teachers,lack of students’ participation,insufficient guidance on students’ whole book reading methods,and imperfect evaluation mechanism of whole book reading teaching.Through the attribution analysis of these problems,the main reasons for these problems are: teachers lack the guidance of the whole book reading teaching theory,teachers’ heavy teaching tasks and limited energy,and schools do not pay enough attention to the whole book reading teaching.In view of the existing problems and reasons,this study combined with relevant theoretical basis to put forward suggestions for improving the teaching of whole book reading in the upper grades of primary school Chinese: strengthen teachers’ study of the teaching theory of whole book reading,including carrying out teaching and research activities based on the needs of the school,seeking Off-campus guidance,carry out training activities;reasonably establish the reading teaching objectives of the whole book,including integrating various elements,ensure the comprehensiveness of the basis for establishing the teaching objectives,clarify the objectives and tasks,and ensure the scientific content of the teaching objectives;according to the students’ reading level and the characteristics of the book style,guide students to formulate reading plans;strengthen the guidance of students’ reading methods throughout the book,including strengthening the guidance of basic reading methods such as intensive reading and skimming,paying attention to the "reading tips" in the textbook,and guiding students to use mind maps skillfully;improve The whole book reading teaching evaluation mechanism makes the evaluation subjects and evaluation methods diversified. |
