A Study On The Influence Of Youth Subculture On College Students’ Values

Youth subculture is a cultural form unique to youth groups that is different from the mainstream culture of society.In the context of globalization,since the reform and opening up,the transmutation and spread of youth subcultures formed in the early stage of foreign modernization have gradually had a greater impact on the cultural consciousness and cultural life of young people in our country,and in the process of the gradual formation of our new cultural pattern of "one main and multiple",the process of localization of contemporary Chinese youth subcultures has also been accompanied.The relationship between the youth subculture and the mainstream culture has also been released from the initial "confrontation-adoption" situation to a dynamic relationship of "both confrontation and cooperation".On the one hand,the youth subculture contains pioneering cultural power,which can,to a certain extent,promote the unification of the young generation’s multicultural consciousness and the enrichment of their personalities;on the other hand,the participation and fermentation of non-mainstream cultural values in the online media can easily interfere with the systematic value discernment process of young people.On the other hand,non-mainstream cultural values in the process of participation and fermentation in the network media can easily interfere with and destroy the systematic value discernment process,leading to the identification bias of cultural values,poor handling of cultural value conflicts,thus weakening the ability of value judgment,and to a certain extent leading to the dissolution of mainstream cultural value contents,and even triggering the crisis of socialist core value identity.Young college students are the future of the country and the hope of the nation,and they are the vital force for the construction and development of the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and their value orientation determines the future development direction of our country.Therefore,with the increasingly prominent subcultural characteristics of the young generation,especially the group of college students,it is of great practical significance to explore how to transform the self-contained state of subcultural survival of college students into a conscious,positive and unified value discernment and cultural consciousness by means of education and guidance on the basis of scientific observation and analysis of this cultural phenomenon.Based on Marxist anthropological theory,the theory of ideological and political education values and the doctrine of youth subculture,this paper observes and analyzes the subcultural characteristics and cultural values of college students through empirical research on college students,realizes a critical understanding of the phenomenon of youth subculture,and deeply analyzes the basic situation of subcultural alienation encountered by the college students,and then provides an opportunity for a holistic understanding of the subculture through the channel of ideological and political education.The paper is divided into four parts.This paper is divided into four parts.First,scientific knowledge of youth subculture is a prerequisite for the study.Through an in-depth analysis of the concept,evolution,causes and specific forms of youth subculture and its value representation in college students,it is revealed that youth subculture is essentially a cultural representation of college students’ individual development in the context of social transformation and development,which provides a certain theoretical basis for the following analysis.Secondly,the empirical research is used to examine the extent of the influence of youth subculture on the value perceptions and behavioral tendencies of college students and the core issues of the deviation of college students from the mainstream cultural values under its influence.Based on the analysis of the research data,it is further concluded that youth subculture has a double influence on college students’ values,and provides reliable data support for the whole paper.Again,based on the research data on the influence of youth subculture on college students’ values,it further explores that youth subculture brings new development opportunities for college students’ ideological and political education in terms of promoting the process of individual socialization,updating the concept of values education,and enriching values education resources,as well as new challenges such as dissolving college students’ mainstream cultural values identity,weakening the dominant position of educators,diluting the discourse of ideological and political education,and intensifying the complexity of the educational environment,and thus provides the basic basis for the following strategies to deal with college students’ values education.Finally,based on the results of the previous analysis,a problem-oriented response strategy on how to correct the deviation of subcultural values among college students is proposed,which is also the focus of this chapter’s research.On the basis of the principles of ideological and political education,firstly,the socialist core value system should be used to guide and correct the value deviation of youth subculture and establish the correct value guidance for its development;secondly,the feasible path of integrating subculture practice into ideological and political education should be explored,and the hidden "nurturing" resources of subculture should be explored;thirdly,the multi-faceted,multi-dimensional,supervisory and educational resources should be pooled together to establish an all-round,multi-dimensional,and multidimensional subcultural education.Third,we should pool the efforts of many parties to establish an all-round,multi-dimensional subcultural guidance mechanism that unifies supervision and education,so as to optimize the external environment for the development of subculture,and thus realize the development of youth subculture and mainstream culture in the same direction.
