Background:Sanda is a kind of combat sport.Athletes should not only master the skills and tactics of the applicable situation, but also have a high cognitive processing ability to fully display their competitive level in the competition. The ability of inhibition and control is a kind of positive superior response to suppress, interfere and delay behaviors, including cognitive and behavioral aspects. It has a very important impact on the competitive performance of athletes in the competition. Now,researchers widely use fNIRS to measure the changes of oxygenated and deoxyhemoglobin, which can reflect the activation of cerebral cortex signals. At present, there is no complete theoretical exchange on the brain mechanism of restraining and controlling the advantages of college athletes at different levels of sanda. Therefore, this study will use fNIRS technology to conduct in-depth discussion. Objective: In order to deeply understand the differences of inhibition and control ability and brain mechanism of college students athletes at different sanda levels during training, study the characteristics of changes in prefrontal activation mode during cognitive inhibition and behavioral inhibition, and investigate whether long-term sanda training has advantages over college students’ inhibition and control ability. Methods: This study took the Sanda team members of the School of Physical Education of Jiang Xi Normal University as the experimental subjects, and divided the subjects into low level groups(n=10)according to the level of exercise and the number of years of exercise: ordinary college students in Sanda optional class;General level group(n=13): physical education college students with Sanda special training for two years or more but no sports grade;High-level group(n=13): college students who have the second level of sanda and have participated in sanda training for five years or more have tested "cognitive inhibition" and "behavioral inhibition" using the paradigm of "Stroop" and "Go/Logo".On the basis of completing the task, the near-infrared brain imaging technology fNIRS was used to detect the activation degree of oxyhemoglobin(Oxy-HB)in the frontal lobe of the subject’s brain when completing the inhibition control task. The collected behavioral data and near-infrared data were analyzed by SPSS26.0 software.Result:(1)In the Stroop task, there was no significant difference in reaction time under consistent and inconsistent conditions(P>0.05),but there was a very significant difference in the correct rate of the three groups of subjects(P<0.01),and the value of the high level was higher. There was a correlation between sanda level and cognitive inhibition ability from the perspective of behavioral analysis.FNIRS data showed that in the Stroop task, the brain areas activated by the general level group and the high level group were the dorsolateral prefrontal lobe(DLPLC)and the ventrolateral prefrontal lobe(VLPLC).(2)In the Go/Logo task, there was no significant difference in the Nogo error rate among the three groups in response time and error rate indicators(P>0.05),and there was no correlation between the level of sanda and the ability of behavioral inhibition from the perspective of behavioral analysis.FNIRS data showed that in the Go/Logo task, the brain regions activated by the general level group and the high level group were the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLPLC)and the frontal polar cortex(FPA).Conclusion:(1)From the perspective of behavior, the inhibition and control ability of college students at different levels of sanda was analyzed. It was found that the cognitive inhibition ability of college students at high levels of sanda was more advantageous, and the behavioral inhibition ability was not prominent.(2)Through fNIRS monitoring,it was found that the normal and high level groups activated the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLPLC),the frontal polar cortex(FPA)and the ventrolateral prefrontal cortex(VLPLC),which showed that they had more advantages than the low level sanda college students in regulating emotions, changing behavioral responses, and enhancing working memory.(3)Compared with the low level group and the general level group, the activation of prefrontal area in the high level group is deeper and wider, indicating that sanda training has a certain positive effect on the brain and can be used as a means of exercise intervention to improve the inhibition and control ability.
