Nowadays,in the context of strengthening the teaching force in the new era, teachers’ professional competence has been put forward to a higher level, and the observation ability of early childhood teachers has become an important part of current and future teachers’ professionalism.Autonomous play is one of the most common forms of play in kindergartens today and has great value for the development of young children. Therefore, only by improving the observation ability of early childhood teachers in independent play can we enhance children’s creativity, imagination and other abilities in independent play. The first chapter is the introductory part.Firstly,it is clarified that the background of selecting the topic of this study is based on the needs of the development of the times and the goals of teacher training in the new era;secondly,by combing through a large amount of relevant literature,it is understood that the existing studies at home and abroad mainly focus on the content, value, and observation record forms of early childhood teachers’ observations. And the research ideas of this study,as well as the interview method, physical analysis method and other research methods are elaborated. The second chapter is the theoretical research section on the improvement of early childhood teachers’ observation ability in autonomous play. The main content is to define the core concepts of kindergarten independent play and early childhood teachers’ observation ability by drawing on the content of previous studies, and to propose observation penetration theory and self-growth teacher professional development theory as the two theoretical bases of this study. The third chapter is the section on the experience and inspiration of the improvement of early childhood teachers’ observation ability in independent play in foreign countries. We learn from the rich experiences of overseas teachers in improving their observation ability in independent play by organizing teachers to watch videos, conducting post-service training, and using the New Zealand learning story method,so as to draw the following insights: first, teachers’ training is reasonably conducted before observation to enhance teachers’ interest in observation;second, relevant theoretical knowledge is internalized through repeated practice exercises during observation;third, scientific interpretation of children’s behavior is conducted after observation to Third, scientific interpretation of children’s behavior after observation can enhance the ability of analysis and evaluation.Chapter 4 is the research process of the improvement of early childhood teachers’ observation skills in autonomous play.Firstly,it introduces the background information of the pilot kindergarten selected for this study, from which eight kindergarten teachers were selected to form an action group, and analyzes the current situation that teachers in this kindergarten have no purpose for the content of observation before observation,no organization for the writing of observation record sheets during observation, and no scientific analysis of observation results after observation;secondly,it clarifies the main purpose of this study, and formulates specific. Finally, the process of the three rounds of action research is elaborated, and the appropriate implementation strategies are gradually explored in practice through collaborative workshops with action group teachers.Chapter 5 is the suggestions and reflections on the improvement of the observation ability of kindergarten teachers in autonomous play.Firstly, through three rounds of action research,we put forward reasonable and feasible suggestions from kindergarten level and teachers’ level respectively: kindergartens should strengthen teachers’ theoretical knowledge, conduct special training for teachers, encourage new and old teachers to discuss together, reasonably arrange work tasks, provide teachers with sufficient observation time, and reduce teachers’ observation pressure;kindergarten teachers should change their traditional concepts, strengthen their observation awareness, master They should also focus on reflective practice and improve their observation skills based on their "self-experience".Secondly,we reflect on this action research from three perspectives: the research object, the content, and the researcher itself.
