With the promulgate of "Healthy China 2030" program and "Sports Power Construction Program" policy,college students,as the new generation of national construction in the new era,how to promote college students’ physical exercise behavior has become an u rgent problem to be solved in school sports.Physical education teachers are one of the main sources of support for college students in school physical education,so this paper,based on self-determination theory and self-efficacy theory,tries to construct a mediation model of the influence of physical education teachers’ autonomy support on college students’ exercise behavior,and discusses the mediating role of self-efficacy and physical exercise engagement.This article uses the method of literature,questionnaire investigation,quantity statistics and other research methods,put forward the hypothesis of this article,the research data collection and analysis,construction of physical education teachers’ autonomy support chain of intermediary effect on college students’ exercise behavior model,analysis of PE teachers’ autonomy support are the direct effect of the college students’ exercise behavior,At the same time,it further analyzes the mediating effect of self-efficacy and physical exercise engagement,which enriches the theoretical basis of college students’ exercise behavior promotion.Research conclusions of this paper:(1)In the study variables of physical education teachers’ autonomy support,self-efficacy,physical exercise engagement and exercise behavior,there was no significant difference in the dimension of participation autonomy of physical exercise engagement,and there were significant differences between grades and genders in other variables.(2)The physical education teachers’ autonomy support,self-efficacy and physical exercise engagement have significant positive effects on college students’ exercise behavior.(3)Self-efficacy and exercise in the physical education teachers’ autonomy support structural equation model of the impact of college students’ exercise behavior plays an intermediary role,physical education teachers’ autonomy support on college students’ exercise behavior affects directly the effect value of 0.149,three intermediary path are reached significance level,indirect and total effect at 42.7%,Therefore,the structural equation model of the influence of physical education teachers’ autonomy support on college students’ exercise behavior is a chain-mediated model.
