| Burnout is the phenomenon of psychological function decline when athletes cope with pressure in sports training or competition, when psychological and physiological resources are consumed and cannot be supplied as soon as possible, which leads to the failure of normal daily training and the failure to achieve the expected competition effect. It greatly affects the quality of training and competition results, and also hinders the development of competitive sports. Therefore,it is very important to prevent or suppress burnout. In recent years, researchers have gradually paid attention to the influence mechanism of athlete burnout from the perspective of psychological capital components in positive psychology.Studies have shown that psychological capital,as an individual positive factor, has a mitigating effect on the incentives of athlete burnout. There is a significant negative correlation between psychological capital elements such as hope,self-efficacy,optimism,psychological toughness and athlete burnout. As an individual ’s positive psychological quality, gratitude is a positive emotional experience obtained by an individual after feeling or responding to the favor of others. To a certain extent,it can enhance the athletes’ resistance to burnout. The extended construction theory holds that gratitude can enable athletes to actively explain daily experience, calmly face stressful events, and accumulate physiological, psychological and interpersonal resources to cope with training and competition.Relevant studies have found that gratitude can have an impact on some intermediaries(such as individual resources),and then play its role in expanding and constructing, affecting the development of psychopathological problems. As one of the individual resources of athletes, interpersonal relationship within the team refers to the state or process of interpersonal interaction within the team based on communication between team members.Relevant theories show that the occurrence of burnout is related to the imbalance of the relationship between athletes.Gratitude helps to stimulate friendly and mutually beneficial behavior among athletes, improve their interpersonal interaction with coaches and teammates, and make them reserve rich interpersonal resources.athletes’ good interpersonal relationship helps to promote communication and interaction among players, help athletes relieve pressure, overcome difficulties and challenges, and improve the efficiency of training and competition. In summary,we can explore the specific mechanism of interpersonal relationships within the team in the relationship between gratitude and athlete burnout. Therefore, this study intends to investigate the influence of gratitude and interpersonal relationships within the team on athlete burnout, and to carry out gratitude psychological training for 9 race walkers. In this study,500 athletes were taken as the research object, and was discussed through questionnaire survey. In this study,500 athletes were selected as the research object, and the effect of gratitude and interpersonal relationship within the team on athlete burnout was discussed through questionnaire survey, and the mediating role of interpersonal relationship within the team between gratitude and athlete burnout was verified. In the second study,a gratitude group psychological training program was compiled to carry out gratitude psychological training for 9 athletes of a provincial walking team. The first stage was a two-week baseline data collection process, the second stage was a four-week gratitude psychological training process, and the third stage was a three-month tracking process. In this study, the Gratitude Questionnaire, the Team Interpersonal Relationship Scale and the Athlete Burnout Questionnaire were used as measurement tools, and multi-baseline inter-subject experimental design was used.Through the analysis of pre-test and post-test data, the effectiveness of gratitude training in improving interpersonal relationships within the team, reducing athlete burnout and improving sports performance was verified. This study draws the following conclusions:(1)The overall burnout of athletes is in the middle level;the burnout score of juvenile athletes was significantly lower than that of adult athletes.Athletes with 7 years or more had the highest negative evaluation score;female athletes’ reduced sense of achievement score was significantly higher than that of male athletes;there is no significant difference in athletes’ burnout scores in sports events and sports grades.(2)There is no significant difference in gender and sports in gratitude;young athletes have the lowest level of gratitude;low-level athletes have the lowest level of gratitude;athletes with 3 years and below have the lowest level of gratitude.(3)The interpersonal relationship scores of the athletes in the physical fitness program was significantly lower than that of the athletes in the skill program;the emotional communication score of middle-level athletes is significantly higher than that of high-level athletes in;there is no difference in gender, age and exercise years in interpersonal relationships within the team.(4)Gratitude can negatively predict athlete burnout, positively predict interpersonal relationships within the team, and interpersonal relationships within the team negatively predict athlete burnout. The interpersonal relationship within the team plays an intermediary role in the relationship between gratitude and athlete burnout.(5)The effect of gratitude psychological training in this study is effective and has good continuity. It can help athletes improve interpersonal relationships within the team, reduce the level of athlete burnout, and improve the level of sports performance of athletes. |
