Learning analysis uses analytical tools such as statistical analysis,content sub-analysis,and social network analysis,which can statistically analyze the data generated during the learning process and discover some patterns of these data to give feedback to students and change their learning behaviors to promote their engagement in task behaviors.Lagged sequence analysis has gradually moved from the medical and financial fields to the educational field in recent years.By analyzing the behavioral sequences of learners with different learning styles,this study tries to uncover the patterns of their learning behavior sequences and provide teachers with suggested interventions to change students’ learning behaviors.This study mainly includes the following points.(1)Sorting out the current status of research on learning styles,learning behavior sequences and learning behavior analysis over the world,identifying research objectives and research implications,and providing a theoretical basis and practical basis for subsequent research.(2)Coding the collected classroom videos by making a review of the existing offline classroom learning behavior articles and citing a suitable learning behavior coding framework with reliability and validity.(3)The learners were classified through the kolb learning style questionnaire,and then the GSEQ software was used to analyze the frequency of classroom learning behaviors and the sequence of significant learning behaviors of students with different learning styles using the lagged sequence analysis technique in order to broke down the correspondence between their learning behavior and performance.The study found that,through the analysis of the learning behavior sequences of different learning styles,the four learning styles students’ salient learning behavior sequences in new lectures have their own directionality in addition to the Conformist learners’ salient on-task behavior sequences will have more than the other three learning styles,the Convergent learners’ on-task behavior will have the behavior sequences from blackboard writing to raising their hands to speak and the behavior sequences of speaking after raising their hands,the Assimilator learners’ learners will also have a sequence of on-task behaviors in which they raise their hands to answer questions.
