| As one of the most ancient characters in the world,Chinese characters have a long history and deep traditional culture.They are also an essential part of Chinese extraordinary traditional culture.As a result of the Chinese characters,our ancestors’ wisdom has been passed down,and a long history has been passed on.Along with the development of multi-polarization and economic globalization,the exchange,integration and conflict of ideas and cultures are becoming more and more frequent.This has greatly influenced the recognition and trust of children in the traditional Chinese culture.Just as the old saying goes,"Life starts with wisdom and literacy"."Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" also emphasizes that students should love our national common language and the brilliant traditional culture of China by learning Chinese.Therefore,it is not only a matter of urgency but also an intrinsic significance to put the culture of Chinese characters into the teaching of literacy.Therefore,it can make the students consciously inherit and develop the fine traditional Chinese culture and enhance the effect of memorizing Chinese characters and training their core literacy.Due to the narrow definition of literacy teaching in existing research,which mainly concentrates upon the lower stages of primary school,and the inadequate and specific strategies,this research focuses on the strategy of infiltrating the culture of Chinese characters in elementary school literacy teaching,in order to offer some suggestions for improving the current situation.As for the methodology,this paper mainly adopts the methods of document study,classroom observation,interview,and case study.First of all,on the basis of a great deal of literature,the literature review of literacy teaching,the culture of Chinese characters,and the relevant studies,make clear the dialectic logic of Chinese character culture and the teaching of literacy in elementary school;Secondly,this paper does a detailed survey and analysis on the status quo of Chinese Character Culture in Literacy Teaching.Third,from the status quo,make clear the problem and cause of the infiltration of Chinese character culture in the teaching of literacy,and put forward some countermeasures.On the basis of above study,the main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,there is a dialectic logical relation between the culture of Chinese characters and the teaching of literacy in primary school.First of all,the author analyses the cultural value and the stage distribution of the elementary school literacy teaching.From a cultural point of view,the teaching of literacy in primary school has the foundation,the long term,and the humane value.Because of the difference in the study period and the aim of the course,the emphasis of the first and second period is to cultivate the interest and habits of literacy;Be aware of the relationship between form,sound,and meaning,and cultivate good writing habits.In the third phase,the emphasis is on developing the students’ independent literacy skills and learning about the wisdom and beauty of Chinese characters.Secondly,the paper expounds the teaching value expression of the culture of Chinese characters.This paper explores the structure value of Chinese character culture,the value of etiquette and philosophy.The former includes the historical value,the structure value,the value of calligraphy,the value of information transmission.In the end,I discovered that "cultural confidence" is the mission of infiltrating the culture of Chinese culture into the teaching of elementary education.It is helpful to increase the confidence of culture,to promote traditional Chinese culture,to carry out student-centered approach,to enhance the effect of literacy teaching,to foster core literacy,and to promote the overall development of students.Secondly,on the basis of a clear understanding of the status quo of Chinese Character Culture in Elementary School Literacy Teaching,the author has identified and explained the existing problems.In this paper,the author does research on the infiltration of Chinese character culture into the teaching of literacy by means of class observation and interview.Through the survey,we find that the penetration of Chinese character culture in the elementary school literacy teaching emphasizes the penetration awareness,but ignores the grasp of the knowledge;Pay attention to the tool and despise the humanity;Pay attention to the standard of writing but ignore the esthetic training;Emphasis on the method of literacy,ignoring the infiltration methods;Emphasis on teacher instruction and neglect the involvement of students.The main causes of these problems are the lack of teachers’ knowledge and ideas,the tendency to take examinations in the teaching assessment,and the lack of teaching resources.Once again,this paper puts forward a detailed strategy on how to infiltrate the Chinese character culture into the teaching of elementary school.Based on the analysis of the problems and the causes of the infiltration of Chinese character culture in the teaching of elementary education,we should attach importance to the culture of Chinese characters and cultivate the literacy of teachers;Adhere to the culture of Chinese characters and emphasize both macro and micro aspects;Optimize the teaching assessment on the basis of the culture of Chinese characters;Excavate the culture of Chinese character deeply,enrich the teaching resources,and build the improvement strategy. |
