The formulation of the 2022 compulsory education history curriculum standard and the implementation of the "double reduction" policy have put forward new requirements for the design of junior high school history homework.How to improve the quality of history homework and better cultivate students’ five core qualities in history has become a major challenge for teachers.This study divides assignments into written assignments and practical assignments.Through a survey of the current situation of assignments,it identifies the problems existing in current junior high school history assignments,and proposes optimization suggestions.The full text is divided into the following four parts.The first part discusses the reason and significance of the topic selection,reviews the relevant research results of homework design at home and abroad,defines the core concept "homework" in this study,and introduces the research ideas and methods of this article.In terms of research ideas,this article first reviews the literature on historical homework design,then analyzes the current situation of historical homework design in junior high schools through questionnaire surveys and homework collection to identify its existing problems.Subsequently,it analyzes the causes of existing problems in historical homework,and finally proposes solutions for optimizing the design.This article divides historical assignments into written assignments and practical assignments for research.The research methods used include literature analysis,questionnaire survey,and case analysis.In the case analysis of assignments,word frequency statistics and similarity rate analysis are also used.The second part introduces the types of junior high school history homework,classifies the written homework into knowledge reproduction homework,analytical reasoning homework,inspiration homework,and summary homework.The practical assignments are divided into visiting,manual,collecting,discussing,and reading assignments.On this basis,the function of historical homework is discussed.The third part introduces the current situation of junior high school history homework.Through a questionnaire survey and case analysis of written homework and practical homework,it is concluded that the current situation of junior high school history homework is that written homework lacks interest,hierarchy,and pertinence,and practical homework has problems such as difficulty in completing,and limited by local resources.The reasons for the above problems are analyzed from the aspects of the constraints of traditional homework forms,resource constraints,and the degree of attention paid by teachers.The fourth part proposes optimization schemes for the current job design problems in the third part.Firstly,four major concepts for optimizing written assignments are proposed,namely,the principle of goal oriented optimization,the principle of hierarchical assignment design optimization,adding interest to assignments,and motivating students to explore independently.For practical assignments,optimization suggestions are proposed for visiting,collecting,and manual assignments,forming a relatively complete design optimization plan for junior high school history assignments.On this basis,the study also demonstrated and analyzed the optimized cases,and under the guidance of the proposed optimization scheme,optimized the design,display,and analysis of written assignments and practical assignments.
