Over the past few decades,there has been a shift in the direction of research in the field of mathematics education,with increasing emphasis on the study of mathematical creativity.There is a growing focus on creativity,it has become an important trend to study the influence mechanism of mathematical creativity from different angles and levels.Existing research suggests a strong relationship between math anxiety and mathematical self-efficacy and mathematical creativity,but the way in which they affect mathematical creativity is still unknown.The research will discuss this issue,and the specific research issues include:Therefore,the research questions of this study are as follows:(1)Explore the development status of mathematical anxiety,mathematical self-efficacy and mathematical creativity;(2)Explore the influence of math anxiety on math creativity;(3)Explore the influencing mechanism among math anxiety,math self-efficacy and math creativity.In this study,470 junior high school students in Fuyang City,Anhui Province were surveyed using literary methods,semi-structured interview methods,questionnaire survey methods,mathematical anxiety scale,mathematical self-efficacy energy scale,and mathematical creation power scale.Independent sample t-test,one-sided ANOVA,correlation analysis,regression analysis,mediation effect test and other methods were used to analyze the data.1.Mathematical anxiety is at an above average in elementary school students;Mathematics self-efficacy is generally low;mathematical creativity is generally below average.The grade difference of students in the three variables is significant.Mathematical anxiety increased first and then decreased with grade increasing,while math self-efficacy and math creativity decreased with grade increasing.There are significant gender differences in the three variables of students.The level of mathematics anxiety in girls is much higher than in boys.Mathematics self-efficacy and math mathematical creativity are significantly higher in boys than in girls.2.Mathematical anxiety in elementary school students was significantly negatively associated with mathematical creativity.Mathematical anxiety was significantly negatively associated with mathematical self-efficacy.Mathematical self-efficacy correlates significantly negatively with mathematical creativity.3.Mathematical anxiety negatively affects the mathematical creativity,and mathematical anxiety affects mathematical creativity through mathematical self-efficacy.On this basis,some suggestions for teaching were put forward: using the development characteristics of creativity,cultivating creativity in stages;Cultivating students’ mathematical creativity through problem raising and solving;Using teaching strategies flexibly to train creative thinking;Adjusting math anxiety and paying attention to mental health;Improving students’ self-efficacy and being supportive teachers. |
