With the advancement of educational reform,more and more attention has been paid to core literacy in today’s world.Core quality has become a vital index to enhance the competitiveness of international talents.In 2017,the curriculum standard of high school physics clearly proposed to cultivate students’ core literacy of the subject.In 2022,the new version of compulsory education physics curriculum standards also proposed to improve the core quality of all students as the purpose.Our country has been engaged in cultivating talents’ core literacy.However,due to the far-reaching influence of traditional teaching,classroom emphasis on knowledge imparting,the cultivation of core quality awareness is not high,teachers lack of training methods for students’ scientific thinking,so in-depth study of curriculum standard content,change of teachers’ ideas,research on the cultivation of students’ scientific thinking teaching strategy and scientific thinking evaluation strategy,has become a hot issue at present.The current state of research in this paper was understood by reviewing the national and international literature.Domestic literature data related to the connotation of scientific thinking was reviewed and analyzed in this topic.Firstly,the concept of scientific thinking and its connotations are sorted out.Based on theories related to pedagogy and educational psychology,students’ scientific thinking skills in junior high school physics teaching were pretested and analyzed through a test method.Secondly,the current situation and problems of junior high school physics teachers in implementing scientific thinking teaching were analyzed through a questionnaire survey of junior high school physics teachers.Based on the results of the analysis of the current state of teaching and students’ situations,consideration was given to which teaching strategies to use in terms of various aspects of scientific thinking and the design of sound assessment strategies.The effectiveness of these strategies is tested by implementing teaching practices and post-testing students to analyse whether their scientific thinking skills have been developed.Finally,the study was summarized and reflected upon,pointing out the shortcomings and limitations of the study.Through practical research,It was obtained that the feasible and effective teaching strategies suitable for the development of students’ model construction,scientific reasoning,scientific reasoning and the questioning of innovation ability,and the consciousness and method of the development of scientific thinking was integrated into the teaching process.The feasible evaluation strategy and the corresponding evaluation index are obtained,and the process evaluation is helpful for the students’ phased growth.Students’ scientific thinking ability has been somewhat developed.
