| Since entering the 21st century,along with the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength,the phenomenon of "Chinese fever" has appeared on a global scale.In Southeast Asia,the Thai people have highly recognized China’s rise and recognized China’s indispensable position in international cooperation and development.With the increasing frequency of economic and trade exchanges between China and Thailand and the in-depth development of friendly relations,Chinese has become the second most popular foreign language after English in Thailand.However,compared with listening and speaking,the teaching of writing Chinese characters,which is an important part of Chinese teaching,has not been given enough attention,which has affected the effect and quality of Thai students’ learning Chinese.This paper takes the primary school students of Pariyatrangsan School (?) in Phetchaburi Province,Thailand as the investigation object,points out the current situation of students’ writing errors in Chinese characters,and uses the theory of error analysis,comparative analysis,mother tongue transfer theory and other related theories to explore the reasons on the errors.This paper uses statistical analysis,questionnaire survey,classroom observation and teacher interview methods to put forward teaching suggestions to improve the current situation of Chinese character teaching in this school,hoping to help improve the teaching level of Chinese character writing in this school.The thesis consists of six parts.The introduction introduces the reasons for choosing the topic,the significance of the research,the theroretical basis,the research methods and the literature review on the study of Chinese writing errors.The first part is the statistical analysis of Chinese character writing errors among primary school students in Thailand.It introduces the general situation of Chinese teaching in Pariyatrangsan School,discusses the source of the corpus of the survey and statistics of the writing errors of Chinese characters,the methods of the survey and statistics,the principles of determining the errors.According to the statistical results,the types of Chinese writing errors are divided.The second part is the analysis of the questionnaire on the learning of Chinese characters among primary school students in Thailand,which explains the relevant situation of the subjects,the implementation of the survey and the design of the questionnaire,and makes a statistical table to analyze the results of the questionnaire.The purpose of this part is to provide a real and reliable data basis for the analysis of the causes of Chinese character writing errors and the proposal of teaching suggestions.The third part analyzes the causes of Thai primary school students’ Chinese writing errors from four aspects: writing factors,school factors,teacher factors and student factors.The fourth part puts forward teaching suggestions from three aspects of schools,teachers and students in combination with my own teaching practice.The conclusion part briefly summarizes this study and points out the shortcomings of the study. |
