In the curriculum standards published in 2017,students are required to broaden their historical vision,develop historical thinking,and improve students’ core literacy in history through the study of high school history.At the same time,the revision of high school history textbooks has increased in content and difficulty,so the review task has become heavier for students.Then,what kind of teaching methods can be adopted in the history review course to strengthen students’ learning of historical knowledge and cultivate students’ historical thinking and historical ability has become a problem that needs attention.This paper sorts out the theoretical basis of unit teaching theory,clarifies the characteristics of the application of unit overall teaching in high school history review courses,and combines the relevant content of principles and feasibility of application to provide a theoretical basis for the rational use of unit overall teaching.After investigating and analyzing the history review methods adopted by teachers and students of practice schools,this paper speculates on the possibility of implementing unit teaching,and proposes strategies that can be used to apply unit review lessons in review lessons.On the basis of the previous research,the application research and analysis are carried out in combination with specific cases,and the eighth unit of the "Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(I)" is combined with the specific teaching implementation process for teaching design and application,and the problems that will arise in the application of the overall teaching of the unit in the high school history review course are analyzed and the solutions are proposed,which is reflected in the advantages of the overall teaching of the unit for students’ ability cultivation in the high school history review course.This paper aims to innovate and enrich the teaching methods of high school history review courses by studying the application of overall unit teaching in high school history review courses,change the review form of "full classroom" in previous review courses,let students become the main body of the classroom,give full play to students’ enthusiasm and autonomy in learning,and teachers serve as auxiliary teachers to help students complete review tasks,thereby improving teaching efficiency.In addition,through students’ sorting out and exploration of unit knowledge,students can improve their historical learning ability,learn review methods,provide a foundation for future learning,and improve students’ core literacy in history subjects through continuous learning.This paper analyzes the application of the overall teaching of the unit in the high school history review course,and designs and analyzes it based on the case studies,in order to provide some new ideas for the selection of teaching methods in the history review course.
