In recent years, with the continuous advancement of education and teaching reform,it is not difficult to see from various new policies that the country’s demand for compound talents is getting stronger and stronger, and the requirements of social development for the comprehensive quality of students are getting higher and higher, which is a severe challenge for schools at all levels. The new interdisciplinary theme practice in the newly promulgated "Physics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education" promulgated by the state in April 2022 is undoubtedly a highlight, and it is also a new direction for curriculum structure optimization. However, under the requirements of the era of integrated and innovative talent training, the current situation of cultivating students’ interdisciplinary ability in the compulsory education stage is not optimistic, especially the transfer of core knowledge between disciplines. At the same time,in domestic research, there are relatively few literature on the ability to analyze the transfer ability between core knowledge of disciplines, with junior high school students as the research object.By reviewing literature to elaborate on the research background and current status of problem chains and interdisciplinary teaching, this paper explores the research significance of transferable problem chains.Define the concept of interdisciplinary, transfer, and transfer problem chains, and clarify the theoretical basis of this study. Then conduct interviews with teachers, distribute survey questionnaires to students, and summarize the current situation of students’ transfer ability based on the feedback from the questionnaires.Based on the theoretical foundations of learning transfer theory, constructivism theory, and Mahmutov’s problem teaching theory, combined with the teaching status and students’ academic situation, this paper proposes a design strategy for transfer problem chain using the second chapter of eighth grade as an example, and summarizes four design principles for transfer problem chain : wholeness, hierarchy, interest and situation.Design teaching cases for "Atmospheric Pressure","Utilization of Sound",and "Lens in Life" using corresponding strategies and principles, and then carry out teaching practice for the experimental class. After the practice,a post test was conducted.Based on the comparison of the pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental class,it was found that the transfer ability of the students in the experimental class has improved to varying degrees in all three dimensions. From this,it can be concluded that the transfer problem chain can improve students’ transfer ability to a certain extent, and also has a certain help in improving students’ core literacy. At the end of the study, the shortcomings of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.I hope this article can provide ideas and references for frontline teachers.
