The 2022 edition of Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards has established the core literacy oriented curriculum objectives,and the cultivation of students’ core literacy has become an important content of mathematics discipline.As one of the carriers to realize the goal of mathematics curriculum,homework should assume the important task of cultivating students’ mathematics core accomplishment.Based on the connotation of the core literacy of mathematics subject and the requirements of the optimal assignment of relevant homework in the "double reduction" policy,this paper adopts the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to study the existing problems in the assignment of mathematics homework in T primary school in Baotou City.According to the mathematics textbooks for senior primary school students and the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education,a questionnaire was compiled for the mathematics assignment of senior primary school students.This paper aims to deeply understand the current situation of mathematics homework assignment in senior primary schools from six aspects: content,type,amount and difficulty of mathematics homework,requirement,function and evaluation of mathematics homework.After sorting out and analyzing the results of the investigation,it is found that there are mainly the following problems: simple and random assignment of mathematics homework,failing to grasp the mathematics curriculum objectives;The unbalanced proportion of mathematics homework is not conducive to students thinking about the world with mathematical thinking;The single type of math homework is not conducive to students to observe the world from the perspective of mathematics.The lack of difference in the amount,difficulty and evaluation of mathematics work is not conducive to the development of students’ higher order thinking.Through interviews with teachers,it is concluded that the existing problems may be attributed to mathematics teachers,mathematics teaching and research groups and schools.Mathematics teacher level: primary school mathematics teachers have insufficient cognition of the core literacy of the subject reflected in the homework and one-sided understanding of the function of the homework.At the level of mathematics teaching and research group: lack of teamwork,it is difficult to fully integrate the subject’s core accomplishment and homework assignment by relying on individual strength.School level: The subject professional training of mathematics teachers is not in place,and the conditions for homework optimization are not created for teachers.In view of the problems existing in the assignment of mathematics homework in senior primary schools,the following optimal assignment strategies are put forward: mathematics teachers should reflect three skills in mathematical core literacy and enrich the types of homework;Analysis of elementary school mathematical thinking advance,reasonable design of homework objectives and content;To meet the personalized needs of primary school students,provide stratified math homework;Improve mathematics homework evaluation,highlight the orientation of education;Mathematics teaching and research group can give full play to the advantages of teamwork and actively devote themselves to homework assignment research;Schools should reverse the value orientation of homework assignment and establish homework assignment system.Homework optimization is very important to improve the quality of homework and cultivate the core quality of mathematics of students,and it is expected to get the attention of every primary school mathematics educator.
