Research On The Countermeasures Of Ideological And Political Education Of College Students’ Idolatry

Idolatry refers to the psychological tendency of individuals or groups to like,admire and aspire to a real or virtual person which they choose and identify with,as well as the resulting social behavior.College students are the main body of idolatry,and idolatry affects the ideological dynamics and values of college students in a subtle way.In recent years,with the continuous development of "fan culture" and the rise of "fan economy",the idolatry of college students also presents new features of the times: from "chasing" to "creation",from "spirit" to "commodity",from "individual" to "fandom",etc.Under the stimulation of new media and mass culture,the problems of value alienation,consumerism and spiritual emptiness among college students have gradually emerged,which bring greater risks and challenges to the shaping of college students’ values and urgently require us to think coldly after the idolatry is "hot".This study collects the basic situation of idolatry among college students by distributing questionnaires,and on this basis,analyzes the status of idolatry among college students in terms of cognition,emotion and behavior,as well as the dual role of idolatry among college students.There are four main reasons for the negative role of idolatry among college students: the bias of college students’ cognition of idols,the long-term neglect of family idolatry education,the lack of innovation in college students’ idolatry education,and the bad induction of commercial entertainment culture on the idol ecological space.Therefore,based on the analysis of the causes of the negative role of idolatry among college students,this study proposes relevant guidance measures and suggestions from four dimensions: college students’,family education,ideological and political education in colleges,and social environment,respectively.College students should educate themselves,improve their cognitive ability of idols,and regulate their idolatry behavior;families should pay attention to idolatry education for college students,educate their children democratically,and focus on emotional care for their children;colleges and universities should innovate ideological and political education methods,combine them with Ideological and Political Courses,Role Model Education and campus culture,and focus on media literacy education;finally,purify the social environment,build a benign ecological space for idolatry,establish and improve the supervision mechanism of entertainment,and strengthen the standardized management of the entertainment industry.The growth and progress of college students are not only related to themselves,but also need the joint efforts of the society,school and family to create a good environment for the development of college students.This study has conducted a more systematic research on the phenomenon of idolatry among college students,in order to pay more attention to the phenomenon of idolatry among college students in ideological and political education,and use ideological and political education to guide college students to form correct value concepts,reduce the negative influence of idolatry on college students,regulate the idolatry behavior of college students,so as to promote the improvement of moral quality and the perfection of college students’ personality.
