Research On The Optimization Of Fund Management In T University Toward The Integration Of Business And Finance

As the backbone of talent cultivation,universities shoulder the major mission of cultivating talents and strengthening the country.Therefore,China strongly supports the development of universities in terms of policies,which promotes the expansion of the scale of universities and increases the demand for funds for universities.However,due to the limited channels for universities to obtain funds,there is often a shortage of funds in universities.Therefore,good fund management is particularly important for universities.How to transform fund management has become an urgent issue for universities to solve.Based on existing research,the author finds a management mode which is integrating industry and finance and applying this mode to fund management can help universities achieve higher quality progress.However,the concept of integrating industry and finance with fund management has not yet taken shape in some universities,especially in some local provincial universities.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a set of optimized research plans with tending to integrate industry and finance for university fund management.Firstly,the application of the industry finance integration model has theoretical and practical significance.Although many scholars have separately studied the industry finance integration and university fund management in detail,there are few case studies that combine the two and target specific universities.Therefore,this article uses literature research,field research,qualitative analysis,and experience summary methods to explore this direction.Then the article clarify the concept of industry and finance integration and the core of university fund management,and elaborate the basic theory of industry finance integration and university fund management.Then the author select T university who has not apply the integration of industry and finance as a case to study.Subsequently,based on the overall situation and organizational structure of T University,the revenue and expenditure and retention of funds,and the process of fund management in budget,receipt and payment,final accounts,and performance evaluation,the article learned that T University had fund management problems in four aspects: prior planning,in-process control,post evaluation,and supporting resources.After research,it is found that these problems were due to lack of the recognition of industry and finance integration,the foundation of industry and finance integration imperfect,the systematic design of processes and organizations insufficient,the prior planning system of funds unreasonable and post evaluation mechanism incomplete.Finally,it is necessary and feasible for T universities to implement the integration of industry and finance.Therefore,there are three schemes could be adopted: a "linear" management approach to engage in the entire process of getting through the capital flow from the front to the back,transforming the financial business process and flat online organizational structure.Also,there are three safeguard measures could be adopted: improving industry and finance resources,establishing a strategic leading prior planning system,and improving the performance evaluation system.It can help T University’s fund management trend towards integration of industry and finance.The adoption of the integration of industry and finance for T university can not only help it optimize their fund management model,improve their financial management level and promote the implementation of their strategies,but also enable T universities to closely follow the requirements of social development trends,provide reference for similar universities and promote the connotative development of universities throughout the country.
