With the continuous promotion and deepening of curriculum reform in China,the core idea of the current new chemistry curriculum reform is to develop each student’s core chemical literacy."Evidence reasoning and model cognition" is one of the five major qualities,which requires students to form thinking and methods for learning chemistry.The 5E teaching mode is a kind of inquiry teaching mode,consisting of five parts: introduction,inquiry,interpretation,transfer,and evaluation.It focuses on students,and focuses on exploring issues.Students complete the autonomous construction of their knowledge system during the five link teaching process.This model cultivates students’ dialectical and logical thinking abilities,and further cultivates their "evidence reasoning and model cognition" literacy.This study first describes the research status of "evidential reasoning and model cognition" and 5E teaching models at home and abroad,and defines the basic concepts involved in the paper.Secondly,based on the investigation and analysis of the current students’ interest in learning chemistry,their learning habits,and their literacy status of "evidential reasoning and model cognition",it was found that the students’ interest in learning chemistry was not high,their autonomous learning ability was not strong,and their literacy level of "evidential reasoning and model cognition" was not high,laying a foundation for the development of the 5E teaching model.Subsequently,a comprehensive analysis and mining of the first and second volumes of compulsory high school chemistry and selective compulsory 1 in the People’s Education Edition were conducted,and 54 class hours of content were selected that were more suitable for the 5E teaching mode.A curriculum implementation framework diagram for cultivating the "evidence reasoning and model cognition" literacy in the 5E teaching mode was constructed.On the basis of analyzing the content of the teaching materials and the development of students,the implementation framework diagram was used as a guide,The teaching cases of "Primary Battery" and "Electrolytic Cell" were designed,and the 5E teaching mode was adopted in the experimental class,while the traditional teaching method was continued in the control class for teaching practice.In order to investigate the practical effect,the "Evidence Reasoning and Model Cognition" evaluation scale was developed using the relevant evaluation research and level division in the curriculum standards for reference.At the same time,the "Primary Battery" and "Electrolytic Cell" post test questions and student interview questionnaires were prepared.Through comparative analysis of the pre and post test results,it was found that the experimental class performance had improved,and the students’ "Evidence Reasoning and Model Cognition" literacy level had improved,Through interviews and questionnaires,it was found that the experimental class students had a good evaluation of the 5E teaching model.In summary,the 5E teaching model focuses on the cultivation of students’ thinking abilities,and has a positive effect on students’ "evidence reasoning and model cognition" literacy.At the same time,the 5E teaching model helps to stimulate students’ interest in learning,improve their ability to explore and solve problems,providing a new teaching model for senior high school chemistry classroom teaching and enriching classroom teaching methods. |
