| High school language textbooks carry not only the knowledge of language subjects but also rich social culture.The female images in the textbooks play an important role in forming correct female concepts and ideals for high school students.However,in character teaching,female images are in a marginal position of being neglected and blurred,and many teachers fail to make good use of the unique educational value of female images.In order to optimize the classroom teaching of female characters and cultivate students’ correct view of women with female characters,this paper,starting from the textbook,firstly,makes a systematic review of the updated changes of female characters in the high school language textbook compiled by the Ministry of Education,which shows that the number of female characters in the textbook has not only increased,but also enriched in the era and country they are in,reflecting the sense of the times and openness.In terms of professional roles,stereotypes have been weakened,and the proportion of women who only take on family roles has decreased,while female revolutionary heroes and female scientists have also appeared;in terms of internal images,positive values have been strengthened,highlighting the optimistic and strong character traits of female images and the independent love attitude of love pursuit.Then,using questionnaires and teachers’ interviews to investigate the current status of female image teaching in high school language,we found that although teachers and students generally recognized the value of female image education,their attitudes toward carrying out female image education and teaching activities were relatively positive,and there were a few examples of female image classroom practice innovation,the female image teaching posture in the classroom was still very unsatisfactory,specifically: the female image teaching posture was marginal,the guidance for The specific manifestations are: marginal teaching posture of female image,insufficient guidance for students’ correct view of women,single and stereotypical interpretation of female image,and old teaching methods of female image.Finally,based on the joint grasp of the teaching materials and teaching practice,we put forward corresponding teaching suggestions in four aspects: creating a good teaching atmosphere,enriching classroom forms,comprehensive and diversified interpretation,and updating teaching methods,etc.At the same time,teaching designs for single teaching and special teaching are given for reference.In conclusion,it is hoped that the study of female images and their current teaching situation in the high school language textbooks of the Ministry of Education will help teachers and students improve the current situation of teaching female images,so that students can have a correct view of women and promote their healthy and positive growth. |
