Abstract/Summary:
Chemistry textbooks are the main tools for students’ learning and teachers’ teaching and are compiled according to Curriculum Standards.Curriculum Standards are the main content basis of textbook evaluation and also provide the basis for textbook use.The experiment of different versions of teaching materials is studied to provide reference for the use of teaching materials.Taking the textbook experiments of Basic Organic Chemistry published by People’s Education Edition,Jiangsu Education Edition and Luke Edition as the research object, the experiment was coded first, and the framework for evaluating textbook experiments was constructed through the interpretation of Curriculum Standards, and an analysis scale was designed.According to the analysis scale, the three editions of textbook experiments were analyzed and statistically analyzed, and then the three editions of textbook experiments were analyzed and compared according to the four dimensions of experimental attributes and quantity, core literacy, experimental presentation mode and skills embodied in the experiment in the evaluation framework. Finally, draw a conclusion and put forward suggestions on the use of teaching materials. The research shows that the experiments in the third edition of textbooks are consistent in all dimensions. The experiments in the three editions of textbooks all pay more attention to Theme 2.In terms of experimental properties and quantity, all the experiments in the three editions of textbooks show in detail that students must do experiments. The non-compulsory experiments in the Jiangsu Education Edition are in good agreement with the Curriculum Standards. There are many non-standard experiments in the People’s Education Edition, and there are no non-standard experiments in the Luke Edition. From the point of view of core literacy, the experiments in the third edition of the textbook show high consistency in the dimension of core literacy, which is more prominent in the dimensions of macro-identification,changing concepts and evidence reasoning, and there are few experiments that reflect balanced thinking, model cognition and social responsibility. The experiments in the Luke Edition of the textbook are better in integrating core literacy. From the way of presenting experiments, there are many qualitative experiments and material properties experiments in the third edition of textbooks, but the embodiment of concept construction, creating real problem situations and modern information technology dimensions is not obvious.Judging from the skills embodied in the experiment, the three editions of textbooks all perform well in the dimensions of experimental conditions control and experimental observation, but not in the dimensions of experimental scheme design and experimental results processing.
