Research On The Construction Of Ideological And Political Theory Courses In Private Colleges And Universities In The New Era

The ideological and political theory course is the main position of ideological and political education for college students,and it is the key course of moral education,playing an important role in cultivating moral and applied talents for the society and nurturing builders with good character and learning for the country.In the new era of comprehensively promoting Chinese modernization,higher requirements are put forward for the quality of education and teaching in private colleges and universities in China,especially for the ideological and political theory courses.Strengthening the construction of ideological and political theory courses in private colleges and universities is of great significance to improve the quality of talent cultivation and promote private colleges and universities to better educate people for the Party and the country.This study takes the Standard for Construction of Ideological and Political Theory Classes in Higher Education Institutions as the basic guideline,bases on the actual situation of private colleges and universities,refers to literature and policy documents,uses questionnaires,individual interviews and other research methods,starts from elaborating the importance of strengthening the construction of Civic and Political Science Classes in private colleges and universities,explores the theoretical basis and policy and legal basis for strengthening the construction of Civic and Political Science Classes in private colleges and universities,summarizes the achievements and problems of the construction of Civic and Political Science Classes in private colleges and universities,and puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening and improving the construction of Civic and Political Science Classes in private colleges and universities on the basis of analyzing the causes of the existing problems.The results show that: At present,the construction of ideological and political courses in private colleges and universities has made a lot of achievements in organizational system,teaching staff,teaching mode,basic security,etc.The new mode of mixed teaching of ideological and political course will gradually strengthen the ability of the teaching staff.At the same time,there are many problems in the construction of ideological and political course in non-governmental universities: not enough attention is paid to the disposable educational resources,some students’ attitude is not correct enough,the evaluation mechanism is single,and the teachers of ideological and political course are weak.The main reasons for these problems are as follows: some organizers do not pay enough attention to the construction of ideological and political courses;The ideological and political education teachers in private colleges and universities are not optimized enough.Therefore,strengthening and improving the construction of ideological and political courses in private colleges and universities in the new era should be carried out from the following four aspects:strengthening the mission of the organizers of private colleges and universities;We should strengthen the political construction of the party organization in private colleges and strengthen the construction of the teaching staff of ideological and political courses in private colleges and universities.
