| Under the advocacy of national fitness and health in China,national sports have become a trend,and mega sport events,as an important carrier to improve the physical fitness of the people,have become an important symbol of demonstrating the economic and cultural strength and social charm of the country or host city.In recent years,with the continuous development of the social economy,the enthusiasm for national sports has never been higher,and large-scale sports events such as the National Games and marathons have also been held in full swing.As is well known,a successful sports event requires not only high costs such as manpower,material resources,and financial resources,but also mature experience in hosting the event.However,currently,many hosting locations often lack relevant experience in hosting events,lack a standardized and standardized event management mechanism,and face issues such as government led participation,low participation of social enterprises,and the loss of valuable knowledge after the event is held.Therefore,how to do a good job in knowledge management of mega sport events and provide mature organizational and management experience for event hosting has become an important issue that must be faced directly at present.This article adopts the methods of literature review and case analysis,focusing on the three questions of "Who manages-What is managed-How is it managed" and drawing on the content of the "Knowledge Management Framework" issued by the National Standardization Management Committee,constructs a theoretical framework for mega sport events knowledge management from three aspects: the main body of sports event knowledge management,the content of sports event knowledge management,and the process of sports event knowledge management.And selected domestic Chinese Super League as a case study,combined with the theoretical framework of knowledge management in large-scale sports events,analyzed the problems presented by the main body,content,and process in the implementation of knowledge management in Chinese Super League.Research findings:(1)The knowledge management of mega sport events requires the joint participation of the government,event management organizations,and knowledge management organizations.The government mainly plays the role of gatekeeper,responsible for macro control of knowledge management,integrating and accumulating knowledge;The event management organization plays the role of creating a learning platform,implementing knowledge innovation and application.Knowledge management organizations assume the role of knowledge storage,sharing,and transmission.Clear division of labor among various entities,their respective roles and collaborative cooperation are the key to the efficient operation of knowledge management in large-scale sports events.(2)The knowledge of mega sport events covers both explicit and implicit aspects,with explicit knowledge mainly including various documents,databases,and organizational culture;Tacit knowledge mainly includes the working knowledge of the event itself and their experience in hosting the event.The key content of knowledge management is to transform tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge.(3)The knowledge management of mega sport events begins with knowledge recognition,flows through the intermediate stages of knowledge acquisition,knowledge storage,and knowledge sharing,and finally aims at knowledge application and innovation.Knowledge recognition is to carry out a large amount of data retrieval and acquisition.Knowledge acquisition is the accumulation of knowledge through knowledge acquisition and integration by the organizer.Knowledge storage is to establish a knowledge base in the organization,including explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge stored in people’s minds.Knowledge sharing refers to knowledge exchange and discussion between employees or internal and external teams or organizations through various channels,Knowledge application is the process of realizing the value of the abovementioned knowledge activities,and knowledge innovation is the process of discovering and generating new knowledge through patent inventions,experience sharing,training,and learning.(4)At present,there are still the following problems in the knowledge management of the Chinese Super League: weak awareness of knowledge management,low level of knowledge management infrastructure,and insufficient knowledge management transformation ability in the knowledge management process of the Chinese Super League.The research results help to enhance the awareness of knowledge management in domestic mega sport events,provide a framework for optimizing the use of knowledge within Chinese Super League organizations,and promote innovation in Chinese Super League organizations.From past experience,organizations can develop new competition strategies to give them competitive advantages,providing theoretical reference and reference for event knowledge management. |
