| The promotion of rural revitalization strategies has attracted more attention to rural people,and rural women,as a relatively special group in society,are easy to be ignored in the rapid development in the past and gradually become aphasia.But now,with the support of the Internet platform,rural women also have more opportunities to speak,and after the "first year of short video",rural women can show their image,record their lives,and express their voices in the form of videos.Rural women no longer give a stereotype of submissiveness and dependence.How the image of rural women is presented,whether it is true,etc.,to a certain extent,reflects the media value orientation of this period,and affects the overall society’s attention to rural women in a certain period.In the process of research,this paper draws on feminist theory,self-presentation and stereotypical influence,and uses case analysis,comparative research and literature research methods to take rural women in “Kuwi” short videos as the research objects.This paper uses the content analysis method to quantitatively analyze the selfpresentation of rural women in short videos,and finds that the image of rural women in Kwai platform is diversified,they are gentle and optimistic,and they are indispensable pillars in the family.However,there are still certain problems in the image presentation of these short videos,such as the stereotypes brought about by the repetitive content of short videos,and media factors affecting most rural women who dare not show themselves.According to these problems,this paper gives suggestions for the construction and presentation of rural women’s images,helping rural women to dare to break through the shackles of feudal thinking,dare to show their lives,improve the voice of rural women and change their stereotypes through the presentation of media images. |
