Education management modernization is one of the important components of education modernization.Since the new century,education management has made rapid development in institutionalization,standardization,and informatization,achieving remarkable results overall.However,in the process of modernizing education management,there are still problems such as simplification of paradigms and shallow theories.Outdated education management concepts can no longer meet the overall needs of education modernization and cannot fulfill the fundamental task of cultivating talents.Therefore,exploring and solving problems related to education management modernization should be one of the important topics in current educational reforms.This article takes A middle school in F city(abbreviated as A School)as an observation object to carry out research on the current situation,problems and strategies of modernization of educational management.Through analysis of core concepts and theoretical tools,using methods such as observation tracking,questionnaire survey and interview to conduct in-depth investigation and research on modernization of educational management in A School,based on the investigation and analysis,examine the existing problems in school education management at present,analyze four dilemmas,and propose specific coping strategies.This article is mainly divided into five parts.The first part is introduction.It mainly includes topic background,concept definition,literature review,theoretical basis,research ideas.The second part investigates the current situation of the modernization of education management in A School.It mainly includes questionnaire,observation and interview.This study observes the current situation of the modernization of education management in A School from two levels of material and spirit.The material level focuses on the informatization of hardware facilities and management software,organizational structure,process,feedback mechanism.The spiritual level is based on the subjective feelings and subject initiative of teachers,students,and managers.The third part focuses on the analysis on problems related to modernization of educational management in A School.Through questionnaires and interviews,we found the main problems in the education management modernization of A School is as follow: First,the school management puts too much emphasis on management methods and benefits,ignoring the characteristics and value of education itself.Second,educators overemphasize their management responsibilities and tasks,while ignoring the subjectivity of students in the education process.Third,school education management has a utilitarian tendency and a orientation of meritocracy.Fourth,disciplines are classified and separated.The subject-based management mode hinders interdisciplinary learning,ignores students’ subject status,and limits the construction of their modern spiritual personality structure.The fourth part focuses on the attribution of the modernization of school education management.The study found that there are four dilemmas: rationality dilemma,specialization dilemma,bureaucracy dilemma,and meritocracy dilemma.The four dilemmas are interlocking and intertwined with each other,forming a whole picture of the problem of education management modernization.The fifth part explores the problem-solving strategies of school management modernization.Based on the analysis of the above problems,the key to breaking the dilemma of modern education lies in how to fully develop people’s subjectivity and modernity.This article gradually explores a feasible cracking path according to the order of rationality formation → injection of disorder → dramaturgical behavior →personal possible life → school life world.Finally,this article summarizes the above research results on the modernization of education management,and finds the shortcomings,and points out the direction for the future research on related issues.
