Modernity,as a profound grasp of the essential characteristics of modern society,as a theoretical abstraction of the spiritual temperament of modernization,and as an inner reflection on modern social problems,has become a core phenomenon and a focal issue of common and universal concern for human beings in the temporal scope of modernity and the spatial scope of global scope.Modernity,with its irreversible momentum,is impacting Chinese society with great force,which is both a development experience of modernization and a reflection on traditional spiritual dissolution,and is both a development and a challenge,and ideological and political education is also "involved".Modernity in ideological and political education goes in the same direction with the development of modern Chinese society and modernization changes,and it is the same source and the same birth with the shaping of modern ideological and political education and the operation of modernization of ideological and political education.It is also a rational review and theoretical reflection of the highly complex operation process of modern Chinese society,the transformation stage of traditional changes,and the spiritual confusion accompanying modernity.Modernity in ideological and political education,as the manifestation of modernity narrative in the field of ideological and political education,is in essence both a conceptual innovation and a summary of what ideological and political education is now,a fact that is happening,a process that is going on,and a pattern that is being presented,profoundly affecting the way of thinking about ideological and political education,reshaping the theoretical space of ideological and political education,and triggering a paradigm revolution political education modernity in the risk of contradiction dilemma,thinking dilemma and movement dilemma.Modernity in ideological and political education may give rise to a series of dilemmas,but it also opens up a new stage of development and gives ideological and political education a new disciplinary mission and transcendent goal.Facing the new journey,it is necessary for us to clarify the
