Comparative Analysis Of The "First Attack" Effect Of The Chinese Men’s Volleyball Team And Its Main Opponent In The 2022 World Volleyball League

The development of modern volleyball is towards "fast,high,and changeable",and its performance in men’s volleyball is more obvious.From vigorous jumping to attack,the height becomes higher and faster,which also increases the direct score of "first attack".The level of the team’s "first attack" ability directly reflects the strength of the ball team.Based on the 2022 World Men’s Volleyball League,this paper analyzes the effect of "one attack" between the Chinese men’s volleyball team and 9 opponents using official VNL match video materials.The method of recording data while playing and watching it repeatedly in a fixed frame is used to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the data,and strict statistics are conducted on the data.Data statistics were conducted on the spiking effect,receiving service,and second pass distribution of offensive players in each game,and in-depth analysis of the data was conducted.The research results are as follows:1.In terms of non-technical indicators:Compared with competitors,the Chinese men’s volleyball team has no advantage in terms of age,weight,height,Cotolet index,spike height,and blocking height.2.In terms of receiving and serving the ball:The first pass penetration rate of the Chinese men’s volleyball team is relatively low.The free agent and the main attack of the Chinese men’s volleyball team are responsible for receiving a pass,and there is a gap between the rate of receiving and serving the ball and the opponent in the game.Among them,Yu Yuantai(No.6),Yang Yiming(No.4),and Zhang Jingyin(No.22)of the Chinese men’s volleyball team are relatively stable players in their first pass.3.In terms of second pass distribution:The top three positions in the frequency of distribution of the main second pass of the Chinese men’s volleyball team are position 3,position 4,and position 2,indicating that when the first pass is in place,there are more fast balls in the middle,which is basically consistent with the distribution of the second pass of the opponent in the game.The Chinese men’s volleyball team has resulted in a lower proportion of empty net and double block than their competitors,while the proportion of single block is higher than their competitors.4.In terms of attack effect:The Chinese team’s active scoring ability(death penalty and hitter out of bounds)is52.64% lower than the opponent’s 56.05%;The offensive effect is average,with the Chinese team(29.25%)being higher than their opponents(26.17%);The Chinese team(18.11%)lost points directly,which is higher than the opponent’s(17.77%).It can be seen that the Chinese team has a low offensive scoring rate and a high error rate.5.Conclusion:The overall receiving and serving effects of the Chinese team and their opponents differ greatly,with a low arrival rate and a high error rate.The stability of receiving the strong jump serve is not sufficient.In the offensive effect,the opponent has a high scoring rate,a low or even zero error rate in the competition,while the Chinese team has a low scoring rate in the first attack attack,with more balls with average effect,creating opportunities for the opponent to counter attack,and has a high offensive error rate.6.Propose corresponding suggestions for four aspects:The physical condition of this team’s new China men’s volleyball team is not weaker than that of its competitors,and the gap between it and the world’s top teams is not significant.During training,efforts have been made to further improve the height of spiking and blocking,and to increase strength training and improve muscle explosive power.The Chinese men’s volleyball team should strengthen the basic skill training of receiving and serving,improve the stability of receiving and serving,and simulate the opponent’s serving characteristics,serving types,and landing points in training to improve the rate of receiving and serving.Train the stability of second setters when receiving and serving the ball poorly,and organize tactical attacks when serving poorly.The Chinese men’s volleyball team is characterized by "fast and changeable",so it is necessary to increase the tactical attack around fast attack,while also reducing the pressure on the tactical attack around reception and main attack,and improving the offensive scoring rate.
