With the continuous development of information education,the application of visual teaching is more and more extensive.Visual teaching is to make use of modern information technology and information resources in the information environment,and take visual tools as the means to visualize and concretize obscure and abstract knowledge.The content of the chapter "Crystal Structure and Properties" in the Optional Chemistry Course II of Senior High School is abstract and tedious,which is often taught in the form of visualization in class.In this paper,literature analysis is used to summarize the literature about visualization teaching at home and abroad,and summarize the current research on the "crystal structure and properties" of visualization teaching,most of the use of computer software to build the crystal model.However,the computer software used by it is difficult to operate,difficult to install and not compatible,so it is difficult to operate and interactive in the classroom.In addition,there are few researches on visual teaching of thinking process.Secondly,text analysis and statistical analysis are used to select appropriate visualization tools to realize "visualization of knowledge structure","visualization of problem solving model" and "visualization of cell model" with VESTA software.Finally,three visual teaching cases of "aggregation state of matter and common knowledge of crystals","ionic crystals" and "complexes" are designed to specifically illustrate the visual teaching of "crystal structure and properties".Visual teaching not only needs to realize visual teaching of knowledge,but also needs to realize visual thinking process.Based on the visualization of knowledge structure of "Crystal structure and Properties" by using visualization methods of mind map and concept map,this paper combined with the analysis of the examination questions of "Crystal structure and properties" in the National Volume I Chemistry Volume in the past five years(2018-2022),realized the visualization of problem solving ideas by using fishbone diagram and flow chart,and constructed the problem solving model.For the establishment of crystal model,VESTA software is mainly used to build,and the powerful function of VESTA software is used to display the cell model in various ways,observe the cell from multiple angles,break through the important and difficult teaching problems such as the coordination number of cells,crystal void and the number of particles in the cell,and make connections with the crystal coordinates learned by students,so as to achieve bilateral interaction in class.Through the realization of "knowledge structure visualization","problem model visualization" and "cell model visualization",the visualization teaching of "crystal structure and property" is finally realized. |
