The non working female preschool teachers are an off staff female group in the preschool teachers’ team.They are affected by their off staff identity,female Sexual characteristics and external factors.The non working female preschool teachers’ professional development is extremely unstable and mobile,and their professional survival and development are not optimistic.At present,their career development is facing many challenges and difficulties,and they are facing significant occupational survival pressure in the labor market.This is manifested in low salary and benefits,lack of relevant labor insurance,limited career development rights,difficulty in improving their professional identity and status,and a vague prospect for career development.There is a lack of confidence and motivation in their profession.Therefore,there is an urgent need to improve the professional survival of non enrolled female preschool teachers,enhance their professional identity and status,safeguard their career development rights,in order to stabilize and enhance the career development of non enrolled female preschool teachers.Understanding the current situation,practical difficulties,and causes of non enrolled female preschool teachers’ career development is a prerequisite for proposing suggestions to improve their career development.The research takes more than 19 non compiling female preschool teachers in kindergartens in Guizhou Province(Guiyang,Zunyi,Bijie,Liupanshui City)as the research object,and adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,and interview to explore their career development status,practical difficulties,and causes.The study investigates and analyzes the current status of non employed female preschool teachers’ career development from four aspects: professional identity and status,professional respect and recognition,career development rights,and career survival.Through analysis,it was found that most non employed female preschool teachers believe that their social professional status is relatively low,and compared to other professional women and employed female preschool teachers,their professional status is not high;In terms of obtaining respect and recognition in their profession,some believe that their profession has not received the respect and recognition of other professional women,and some even do not receive the respect and recognition of parents in their work;At present,most of their positions in kindergartens are mainly as head teachers,with few participating in administrative work.Most of them lack opportunities for on-the-job training,educational advancement,job evaluation and promotion,vocational training and guidance in kindergartens,and some lack opportunities to participate in kindergarten management and development decision-making;The analysis also found that their salaries are relatively low,their welfare benefits are not high,and their wages are in arrears.Most of them do not have pension,medical,work-related injury,unemployment and other insurance in their work,and most also lack the conditions for paid maternity leave and paid leave.Based on the analysis of the current situation and interview data,there are mainly difficulties in the career development of non employed female preschool teachers,such as worrying career survival conditions,difficulty in improving professional identity and status,and lack of relevant rights and interests protection in the profession.The study analyzes the reasons for their career development difficulties based on the feminist perspective of capitalist patriarchy,traditional gender division of labor concepts,and the protection of women’s rights and interests.Finally,based on the practical guidance of their relevant ideological theories,exploratory suggestions for their career development are tentatively proposed,including three aspects: firstly,to establish salary and treatment standards and promotion mechanisms for non employed female preschool teachers,enhance their economic independence,and thus improve their career survival status;Secondly,advocating for gender equality in employment in social professions and eliminating the negative impact of traditional gender division of labor concepts on their professional status;The third is to supervise various kindergartens to implement the provisions of laws and policies on the protection of women’s rights and interests,improve the protection mechanism for the rights and interests of non registered female preschool teachers,and thereby improve their professional rights and interests protection.Through these exploratory suggestions,it is hoped that to some extent,the survival status and professional status of non employed female preschool teachers can be improved,as well as their professional rights and interests can be protected,which is beneficial for stabilizing their career development. |
