High school ideological and political education undertakes the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people.It is an unshakable sacred mission of high school ideological and political education to help young people buckle the first button in their lives,guide them to establish correct values and ideals,continuously improve their ideological level,political awareness,moral quality,and cultural literacy,and cultivate them into new people of the era who shoulder the great task of national rejuvenation.Based on the practical needs of curriculum reform and education,this article focuses on the psychological development and emotional needs of students,draws on the core content of positive psychology,and provides a new perspective and ideas for effectively improving the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in high schools.Firstly,the concept of the effectiveness of high school ideological and political teaching and positive psychology theory is elaborated,and the necessity and feasibility of combining the two are analyzed at the theoretical level to enhance the research significance of this article.Secondly,using questionnaires and teacher interviews to understand the current situation of the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in high schools,it was found that students’ subjective experience was low and their learning enthusiasm was not high;Teachers lack active teaching and emotional guidance;"Knowledge exchange stops at the surface,and discipline literacy cultivation is weak.From the perspective of positive psychology,in-depth analysis is made of the causes of the problems from the perspectives of teaching evaluation,educational concepts,and teaching methods.".Finally,using the content of positive psychology for reference,specific solutions are proposed to strengthen students’ positive emotional experience,shape positive personality traits of teachers and students,and create a positive organizational environment.This study adheres to the educational philosophy of "people oriented" and the fundamental purpose of "cultivating morality and cultivating people",and explores the effectiveness of ideological and political education in high schools from the perspective of positive psychology.The purpose is to use the core content of positive psychology to strengthen humanistic care and human nature education in ideological and political education in high schools,with a view to changing the rigid,dull,indoctrination based teaching mode in the ideological and political classroom in high schools,and continuously enhancing students’ happy learning experience,Shaping students’ positive personality traits and promoting students to turn political learning into an active internal demand,thereby achieving the goal of core discipline literacy.
