Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Cultivating Full-time Master’s Degree In Physical Education In Guizhou Province

In 2020,the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education jointly issued the Program for the Development of Professional Degree Graduate Education(2020-2025),which clearly stated that "the enrollment scale of master’s professional degree graduate students should account for about 2/3 of the enrollment scale of master’s graduate students,so as to meet the social demand for high-level application-oriented specialized talents.In this context,based on the social development,the number of master’s degree students should be increased to about 2/3 of the total number of master’s degree students.In this context,it is especially important to gradually improve the education quality of master’s degree students in sports based on the orientation of social development needs.Therefore,this study takes the full-time master’s degree in physical education in Guizhou Province(Guizhou University,Guizhou Normal University,Guizhou Medical University and Guizhou Minzu University)as the research object,and uses the methods of literature,interview and questionnaire to analyze the current situation of full-time master’s degree in physical education in Guizhou Province,to understand the current situation and problems in the process of cultivation in each university,and to put forward targeted suggestions.The study also proposes targeted suggestions to provide a reference basis for colleges and universities in Guizhou Province that have master’s degree in sports.The following conclusions are drawn from the study:(1)The full-time professional master’s degree in sports cultivation in Guizhou Province began in 2015,and the development started late.(2)The recruitment process of full-time master’s degree in sports in Guizhou Province is implemented standardized,and the student source is mainly fresh unified students,but there are no differences in the subjects of the preliminary exams in the professional fields.(3)Students in the cultivation process of full-time master’s degree in sports in Guizhou Province have a vague understanding of the cultivation objectives.The professional setting covers 4 fields,mainly physical education.The cultivation academic system is 3 years.(4)The cultivation program of full-time master’s degree in physical education in Guizhou Province is clearly positioned and conforms to the national requirements,but the characteristics of curriculum setting are not obvious enough,the content of teaching practice courses is small,the elective courses are mainly professional courses and skills courses,there is a lack of cross-disciplinary courses,students lack the right to choose elective courses independently,and the course credit setting is not perfect.(5)According to the survey,the channels for obtaining employment information of full-time sports master degree students in Guizhou Province are mainly the Internet and school recruitment information,and most students’ development intention after graduation is to choose schools,followed by government agencies.(6)Problems: the target of cultivation is not strongly targeted;there is no difference in the subjects of the preliminary examination of the professional field;the content of practical courses is little;the elective courses lack autonomy;and the course credit setting is not perfect.(7)Development countermeasures: refine cultivation requirements to enhance students’ understanding of cultivation objectives;adjust the professional subjects of the examination to guarantee the correspondence of each field;focus on the offering of practical courses to enhance the applicability of the courses;increase the variety of elective courses to improve students’ autonomy in course selection;optimize the credit setting and reasonably allocate the credits of each type of courses.
