Objective : According to the special characteristics of badminton and the muscle strength characteristics of badminton players, this paper explores the influence of different ways of plyometric training on the fast strength of lower limbs of badminton players,so as to provide empirical basis and practical guidance for improving the effect of special strength training for adolescent female badminton players more efficiently. Methods:Twenty adolescent female badminton players at Level 2 and above were recruited and stratified randomly into 2 groups, single drag rapid stretch compound training group(S group,n=10)and double leg rapid stretch compound training group(D group,n=10),and all subjects passed the lower limb 1RM test before the intervention for an 8-week intervention experiment. The 60 s double swing jump rope, standing long jump, single foot long jump and single leg horizontal jump were screened using the Delphi method as the test indexes of lower limb rapid strength, which were tested before the experiment started and after the 8-week intervention, and the 4-tests data statistically analyzed. Results :(1)After 8 weeks of exercise intervention, there was no significance difference between groups S and D 60 s double jump rope groups(P > 0.05);however,there was a significance difference within groups S and D 60 s double jump rope groups(P < 0.05).(2)In standing long jump: there was a highly significance difference(P < 0.01)between Group S and Group D intra-group comparison;there was a significance difference(P < 0.05)between Group S and Group D group comparison.(3)In the single-leg long jump: there was a highly significant difference between Group S single-leg long jump-left and right inter-group comparison(P < 0.01),and a highly significant difference between Group D group single-leg long jump-left and right inter-group comparison(P < 0.01),and highly significant difference between Group D and Group S in the single-legged long jump-right(P=<0.01),and a significant difference between Group S and Group D in the single-leg long jump-left(P<0.05).(4)In the single leg horizontal jump: there was a highly significant difference(P < 0.01)between Group S single-leg horizontal jump-right and left intra-group comparison;there was a highly significant difference(P < 0.01)between Group D single-leg horizontal jump-right and left intra-group comparison;there was a significance difference(P < 0.05)between Group S and Group D single-leg horizontal jump-right and left inter-group comparison. Conclusion:After 8 weeks of plyometric training, the double legs were effective in improving the lower extremity strength of female junior badminton players, which is in agreement with the results of previous studies. However,in the aspect of overall training effect, compared with the double legs exercise approach, the single leg exercise approach was more beneficial to improve the lower extremity fast strength of badminton players.
