With the promulgation of policy documents such as the Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of the Construction of the Teacher Team in the New Era,the Action Plan for the Revitalization of Teacher Education(2018-2022)and the Opinions on Strengthening and Improving the Construction of Teacher Ethics and Teaching Style in the New Era,the Party and the state have attracted great attention to the construction of teacher ethics and teaching style in the teaching team.As the first criterion for evaluating the quality of teachers,teachers must constantly strengthen the level of teacher ethics on the basis of highly identifying with their own profession.As an important part of the teaching team,physical education teachers have a relatively serious "stigmatization" practical dilemma,which not only leads to the low sense of identity of physical education teachers,but also has a potential negative impact on the formation of their teachers’ morality and teaching style,and how to coordinate the relationship between the two is an important problem facing the construction of the current physical education teacher team.Based on this,this study aims to explore the relationship between the professional identity of physical education teachers and the level of teachers’ morality,and understand the mutual influence of the two,so as to better enhance the professional identity,sense of responsibility and sense of mission of physical education teachers,and achieve the effect of standing up with virtue,teaching with virtue and educating morality with morality.In this study,421 middle school physical education teachers in China were surveyed using the "Secondary School Physical Education Teacher Professional Identity Scale" and the "Secondary School Physical Education Teacher Ethics Assessment Scale",and 15 secondary school physical education teachers were interviewed by group interviews,and then the current situation,correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out on the difference between the professional identity of secondary school physical education teachers,the teacher’s moral level and its variables through SPSS 27.0 statistical software,and finally the following conclusions were obtained:1.Secondary school physical education teachers’ professional identity is relatively strong,with value identity at the highest level under its dimensions,followed by commitment identity,competence identity and emotional identity,and the lowest continuous identity.Secondary school physical education teachers’ level of teacher ethics is at a high level,and their professional ethical behavior under its dimensions is at the best performance,followed by professional ethical cognition and professional ethical attitude,and professional ethical emotion is at the lowest.2.Secondary school physical education teachers’ professional identity and level of teacher ethics were significantly different from demographic variables in most cases.Significant differences existed between continuing identity in terms of ethnicity and age;competence identity and value identity in terms of identity;competence identity,value identity,and commitment identity in terms of marriage,job title,age,teaching age,school district of teaching,and monthly income;affective identity and professional moral cognition and professional moral emotion in terms of monthly income;and professional moral attitude in terms of.There are significant differences in professional moral attitudes in terms of teaching age and monthly income;there are significant differences in professional moral behaviors in terms of ethnicity,marriage,status,title,age,teaching age,and monthly income;and there are no significant differences in the variables of gender and education.3.There is a more significant correlation between the professional identity of secondary school physical education teachers and the overall level of teacher morality and its dimensions.Among them,professional ethical behavior,professional ethics cognition and continuous recognition were weakly correlated.Professional ethics cognition and emotional identity,value identification,investment identification,professional ethics emotional and ability identification,emotional identity,continuous identification,professional ethical attitude and ability identification,emotional identification,continuous identification,professional ethical behavior and ability identification,emotional identity,investment identification,moderate correlation;Professional ethical emotions and value identification,investment identification,professional ethical attitude and value identification,investment identification,professional ethical behavior and value identification,are strongly correlated.4.The professional identity of secondary school physical education teachers has a significant impact on the teacher’s moral level,and the univariate linear regression equation(teacher’s moral level = 0.886 + 0.827 professional identity)and multiple linear regression variance(teacher moral level = 0.71 + 0.127 ability identity + 0.107 emotional identity + 0.322 value identity + 0.1 continuous identity + 0.2 input identity are listed through regression analysis. |
