Early childhood education is an important task in basic education and an important transition stage for the healthy physical and mental development of young children.With the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,newer and higher requirements have been put forward for pre-primary education and primary one and two education,making the "bridging of early childhood and primary school",which is already a concern for all sectors of the community,a hot topic once again.On 25 March 2022,the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the circular on launching the national pre-school education publicity month 2022(hereinafter referred to as the circular)and the guiding opinions on vigorously promoting the scientific connection between kindergartens and primary schools,implementation of these two important documents began to implement the requirements of all places,vigorously promote kindergarten and primary schools to jointly implement school readiness and adaptation education,effectively link up to slow down the gradient.AS an important part of the EYFS bridging process,good home cooperation can help children develop correct learning habits,good behavioral habits and strong self-care skills,effectively improving the quality of the EYFS bridging process and enabling children to pass through EYFS better.However,there are still many practical dilemmas and challenges in the development of home cooperation in the process of EYFS,and many problems need to be solved in a timely manner.In this study,we will conduct a field survey and research on home cooperation in a kindergarten in city A,and propose valuable and operational countermeasures to improve the current situation of home cooperation in the EYFS,enhance the efficiency and quality of home cooperation,and effectively promote the "double reduction" policy.This study is based on the current situation and problems and dilemmas of home cooperation in a kindergarten in city A after the introduction of the "double reduction" policy,and combines literature,questionnaires,semi-structured interviews and case studies.After collecting,collating,summarizing and analyzing the data,this study found the following five problems in the cooperation between home and primary schools in a kindergarten in city A under the background of the "double reduction" policy:(1)the content of cooperation between home and primary schools is not detailed and in-depth;(2)there is a lack of evaluation mechanism;(3)the use of information technology is at a slightly lower level;(4)teachers and parents do not have professional guidance;(5)there is no professional guidance for parents;(6)there is no professional guidance for parents.(4)no professional guidance for teachers and parents;(5)insufficient overall awareness of cooperation.In response to the above problems,this study also analyses the causes of the problems according to the actual situation and proposes corresponding optimization measures:(1)changing teachers’ concepts and clarifying their roles as service providers,collaborators and instructors;(2)adopting a targeted approach to family education guidance;(3)improving teachers’ ability to provide concrete and diversified family education guidance;(4)giving full play to the classroom’s role as the main forum for family education guidance.(5)using modern means to improve the timeliness and relevance of family education guidance;(6)taking advantage of the community to expand family education guidance channels.In short,early childhood teachers should raise their awareness of service,actively establish an equal relationship of mutual respect and trust with parents,and guide them in a variety of concrete ways to establish a correct view of education and children,and form a synergy of education with kindergartens to support the healthy and harmonious physical and mental development of young children.
