Learning chemistry plays a positive role in promoting students’ personal quality and career development.With the implementation of the double reduction policy,improving the quality and efficiency of classroom teaching has become a new challenge for front-line teachers.Through the analysis of students’ learning situation,adopting diversified teaching strategies,guiding students to study independently and constantly optimizing the teaching mode,we can improve the quality and efficiency of the classroom.5E teaching mode is an inquiry teaching model based on constructivism,which can promote the improvement of students’ knowledge and ability,but in the process of development,there are some problems,such as the limitation of classroom time and teaching resources,the lack of comprehensive evaluation methods and so on.Combined with the existing literature and related theories,this paper clarifies the research status and characteristics of 5E teaching model and chemistry concept in senior high school.Secondly,through teacher interviews and student questionnaires to understand the current situation of chemistry concept teaching in senior high school,analyze and summarize the existing problems in chemistry concept teaching.Then,combined with the learning situation of the students and the characteristics of the 5E teaching model,the "5E+S" teaching model is put forward.The "5E+S" teaching model is further developed on the basis of the 5E teaching model,increasing the carding of knowledge and further expanding the exquisite links,which can help students to master knowledge effectively and improve their ability.By observing the students’ performance in class,the answers in class and the knowledge carding presented by the students in the form of mind maps or tables,teachers can understand the students’ understanding of the learning content and the way of thinking,so as to evaluate the students’ learning effect.The author makes a strategic research on each teaching link in the "5E+S" teaching mode,analyzes and combs the basic concept of "material structure and properties" in the chemistry elective textbook of Su Education Edition,and selects "Periodic changes of the first ionization energy and electronegativity of elements","intermolecular force" and "Formation and Application of complexes" for teaching practice.After practice,the author compares and analyzes the pre-post-test scores of students’ core literacy-oriented test questions and classroom observation scale,and conducts interviews with students to verify the feasibility and practical effect of "5E+S" teaching model in chemistry concept teaching.The results show that the application of "5E+S" teaching mode is helpful for students to master efficient learning methods,improve students’ learning efficiency,promote the formation of classroom culture,and promote the development of students’ core literacy of chemistry.At the same time,the application of "5E+S" teaching mode in chemistry concept teaching in senior high school can promote teachers’ professional development and provide case reference for front-line teachers.
