| Embodied cognition,a new angle on educational research,highlights the shortcomings of traditional cognition,including the body’s neglect,emphasis on its significance in the cognitive process,prominence of the body involved,and situational and generative nature of cognition.Physical micro experiments are simple to set up,manage,and have a wealth of practical experience,which makes them an excellent adjunct for improving junior high school physics experimental instruction.The thesis integrates the physical micro experiment’s involvement,context,and generation with embodied cognition,embodies the physical micro experiment,gives every student the chance to practice,aids students in understanding physical knowledge,and encourages the growth of students’ core literacy.The embodied cognition theory and the physical micro experiment are researched using the literature research methodology in the thesis.Understand the attitudes,comprehension,design,and implementation of employing physics micro experiments for education among teachers using a questionnaire survey method.We created a "personalized physics micro experiment" using everyday objects as well as information technology,like the Internet and smartphones,and presented it in a "QR code" format to create a "personalized micro experiment task list" for students’ hands-on learning,using the eighth-grade physics textbook from the Shanghai Science Edition as an example.Using Chapter 6’s "Familiar but Unfamiliar Forces" as a vehicle,"embodied physics micro experiments" were used to generate realistic scenarios,develop lesson plans,and carry out instructional procedures.The usefulness of using "embodied physics micro experiments" in the classroom is examined using quasi-experimental research,comparisons of core competences,and post-class interviews.The findings of the study suggest that "embodied physics micro experiments" have improved physics teaching materials;Teachers can use the production video that is displayed as a "QR code" as a guide when creating course materials;The "personalized micro experiment task list" developed has expanded the range of practical experiences available to students and transformed the way physics homework is done.It was discovered through a comparison of pre-and post-tests that "embodied physics micro experiments" can be used as an adjunct teaching technique to assist students in understanding knowledge;It was discovered from the examination of core literacy disparities that it can help foster kids’ core literacy development.Interviews conducted after classes have demonstrated that it can increase students’ motivation to learn.The creation and use of "embodied physics micro experiments" in junior high school physics lessons offer a fresh approach to fostering the growth of students’ fundamental literacy skills,as well as a variety of teaching resources for instructors and enhancements to the practical system of physics instruction. |
