In recent years,the frequency of bullying incidents on campus has always been a source of concern,and bullying victimization can seriously affect the mental health of middle school students.The negative emotional reaction caused by bullying victimization is likely to increase the level of social anxious,make middle school students avoid social contact,and gradually form a solitary character,which is very likely to lead to the middle school students lonely emotional experience.Loneliness,as a negative emotion,will cause anxiety,sadness and even depression of middle school students who are in the stage of adolescent development,thus affecting their academic performance and quality of life.In addition,social anxiety is a research field that has attracted much attention at home and abroad,and many studies have also found that it has an important correlation with loneliness.Therefore,this study takes loneliness as the starting point to explore the mediating role of social anxiety between bullying victimization and loneliness,and on this basis to carry out psychological group counseling intervention,which has important theoretical and practical significance for reducing the level of social anxiety and loneliness of middle school students,and also provides operational suggestions for the management of school bullying incidents.Here are two studies in this paper: Studies 1,712 middle school students were investigated by DBVS-S,ULS-8 and SAS-A,and the collected data were processed by descriptive statistics,variance analysis and mediation effect test to explore the relationship between bullying victimization,social anxiety and loneliness among middle school students.The results of study 1 show that bullying victimization can significantly positively predict social anxiety and loneliness,and social anxiety can significantly positively predict loneliness;Social anxiety partially mediates the relationship between bullying victimization and loneliness.Studies 2,based on study 1,select students with high levels of social anxiety and loneliness,and finally select 32 students based on their personal wishes.Using group counseling intervention to investigate the effect of group assisted programs on reducing social anxiety and loneliness among middle school students.The results of study 2 show that group psychological counseling for social anxiety can significantly reduce the level of social anxiety and loneliness of middle school students.The findings of this study enrich the general strain theory and social need theory.It provides practical enlightenment for preventing and managing school bullying and reducing the level of social anxiety and loneliness of middle school students.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Bullying victimization among middle school students can significantly positively predict social anxiety and lonelines,Social anxiety can significantly positively predict loneliness;Social anxiety partially mediates the relationship between bullying victimization and loneliness.(2)Social anxiety group psychological counseling can significantly reduce the level of social anxiety and loneliness of middle school students.
