Our country is a united country coexisting with many ethnic groups,which have composed a long history of the Chinese nation together.With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,the history curriculum standards for senior high schools issued in 2017 also require that in history teaching,the development process of China’s unified multi-ethnic country should be viewed correctly,and students should be guided to understand the development trend of the pluralistic unity of the Chinese nation.The emergence of the new unified history textbook just coincides with it.The arrangement and design of the textbook also presents four aspects of ethnic history,ethnic policy,ethnic theory and opposition to division,reflecting the communication and integration among different ethnic groups.Ethnic unity has always been a major issue concerning the future and destiny of the country as well as social stability and harmony.To carry out ethnic unity education in high school history class is the practical need to maintain ethnic unity and ethnic stability,and also conforms to the relevant provisions of curriculum standards,which is conducive to building healthy personality of high school students.The thesis consists of four chapters,which are elaborated from the following aspects.In the introduction part,it mainly discusses the reason of topic selection,research summary,research content and methods,and the definition of related concepts.The first chapter mainly expounds the importance of ethnic unity education in high school history teaching,which is narrated from three aspects:country unity,ethnic culture and youth quality education.The second chapter conducts an investigation from the perspective of teachers and students.Through the research and analysis of the current situation of three middle schools in Dingbian County,Yulin City,Shaanxi Province,it finds that there are mainly problems such as the pertinence of the content of ethnic unity education,the weakness of The Times,the formalization of the teaching process,the disconnection between theory and practice,the lack of innovation in teaching methods,and the lack of diversified exploration of teaching modes.The third chapter combs the content of ethnic unity education in the new unified high school history textbook and summarizes the characteristics of its design.The fourth chapter,based on the analysis of the previous article,considers how to integrate ethnic unity education into high school history teaching under the current environment,and puts forward some feasible implementation strategies.Firstly,teachers should attach importance to ethnic unity education from the ideological concept and teaching practice;Secondly,it puts forward corresponding suggestions on how to carry out ethnic unity education in history teaching,namely,it discusses from three aspects: cultivating ethnic unity consciousness,exploring the contents of ethnic unity education in textbooks,and taking multiple measures to realize the cultivation of ethnic unity education.Finally,we should strengthen the pertinence and epochal content of ethnic unity education,so as to realize the organic connection between high school history and ethnic unity education.
