Education poverty alleviation is an important task in China’s poverty alleviation and development strategy,which is of great significance for achieving educational equity.On November 29,2015,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Decision on Winning the War of Poverty Alleviation",clarifying the requirements for strengthening education to alleviate poverty,proposing to use education poverty alleviation projects to achieve fair and quality education for children from impoverished families,thereby cutting off the goal of intergenerational transmission of poverty.Whether in national poverty alleviation or in the current post poverty alleviation era,education poverty alleviation is a fundamental,pioneering,and sustainable poverty alleviation method,which is the fundamental strategy to solve poverty problems by nourishing endogenous forces.In order to implement the requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China’s “removing poverty without removing responsibility,policy,assistance,and supervision ”,Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County continued to implement education poverty alleviation measures and consolidate and improve the achievements of education poverty alleviation after successfully lifting its hat in 2018.This thesis mainly adopts literature research methods,field research methods,induction methods,and combines poverty culture theory,education equity theory,poverty intergenerational transmission theory,and ability poverty theory.This thesis then concludes the practice and achievement of the education poverty alleviation in Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County.It analyzes issues from multiple perspectives,including the parents’ insufficient effort,lack of foundation,student’s mental health,practicing of financial investment,and weak learning initiative of students.Based on the issues mentioned above,this thesis finally pointed some suggestions,including enhancing the propaganda of the importance of education,bettering the economic environment of rural area,paying attention to students’ mental health,creating the method of financial aiding,strengthening schools’ management and promoting teaching resources etc.This thesis is aiming at providing theoretical reference for education poverty alleviation of Qinglong,which can harvest more fruits for rural revitalization.
