The development of mass communication has made it gradually embedded into every aspect of peoples’ social life.Scholars have started to study its impacts on ideological and political education in universities,and specifically targeting on how to make ideological and political education became more effective in the field of mass communication.In order to effectively enhance the aiding function that mass communicate could bring to educators,universities,governments and entire society in ideological and political education,in-depth study of the opportunities and challenges brought by mass communication to ideological and political education,is one major project that contemporary educators must advocate.This article uses Marxism,major achievements in adapting Marxism to Chinese context as its guides to research,combining theories of ideological and political education,mass communication theory to exam both positive and negative that mass communication has upon ideological and political education in Chinese universities,when its be seen as a teaching media or facts that sculptures social environment.Since the new era began,the information trans method of mass communication has been revolutionary changed.As a communication method,mass communication aids educational information widely spread,and has multiple positive effect in coverage expanding,content iterating and method innovation.Yet all types of media that mass communication has developed through out time has grave negative impacts upon ideological and political education especially form the level of social discourse,public opinion,and value system structure.Therefore,it is vital for educators in the new era to accurately handle the relationship between ideological and political deduction in its traditional education form and the mass communication form.By improving the ability and quality of educators;maximizing the positive influence in expanding the coverage of education while mass communication plays as a carrier of education information.And through establishes cooperative information feedback mechanism of mass communication in Ideological and Political Education,it enable educators to coordinate teaching content in time.By establish a joint force of educator,universities,government,and society,we could create a good social environment for the development of ideological and political education and efficiently improve its effectiveness. |
