Drama is a comprehensive art integrating literature and art,which not only has the unique charm of language and writing,but also has the visual impact of artistic performance,which carries the rich achievements of human spiritual civilization,has unique literary value and aesthetic value,and plays a pivotal role in secondary school Chinese teaching.The effective teaching of drama texts is in line with the current educational goals of cultivating students’ cultural self-confidence,language use,thinking ability,and aesthetic creation.However,in junior high school Chinese teaching,there are still some deficiencies in drama learning,so that the value of drama teaching is not fully reflected.Based on this,through the study of the core literacy of Chinese in the Standards for the Chinese Curriculum in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),an improvement strategy for the teaching of Chinese and drama in junior high school is proposed.This paper consists of four parts,the first part is an introduction,which expounds the research origin of this paper and combs the literature of drama teaching under the core literacy of Chinese to highlight the importance of drama teaching and research.The second part explores the practical significance of Chinese drama teaching in junior high schools.The third part is the current situation and problem analysis of Chinese drama teaching in junior high schools.The student questionnaire survey method and teacher interview method were mainly used to investigate and analyze to understand the current situation of drama teaching in junior high school and summarize the specific problems in drama teaching in junior high school.The fourth part is the improvement strategy of junior high school Chinese drama teaching,combined with the requirements of language core literacy,from four aspects: "text interpretation","chart drawing","situation creation" and "based on the main theme of the text",to carry out research on the teaching strategy of Chinese drama in junior high school.
