The Art Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition)states that "using choral education as a means of aesthetic and quality education,cultivating students’ musical literacy,and regularly carrying out class choral teaching activities can be improved and enhanced in terms of educational equity and students’ overall quality." It is easy to see that the state is paying more and more attention to the cultivation of students’ class choral ability,and that class choral singing has an irreplaceable role in enriching the aesthetic experience of junior high school students,enhancing their aesthetic awareness and cultivating their aesthetic sensibilities.In this paper,I have chosen Beijing L Middle School as the research object,which started from my six-month internship experience in the middle school.This study mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and data analysis method to investigate and analyse the current situation of class chorus teaching in Beijing L Middle School,hoping that it can provide reference for middle school class chorus teaching and make a modest contribution to class chorus research.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the reason for choosing the topic,the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the content and method of the research,and the current situation of domestic and international research.In the second part,the author elaborates on the theories related to class choral teaching,firstly defining the concept of chorus and class chorus and distinguishing between the two,secondly discussing the basis of the study and clarifying the value of class choral teaching in junior high school,laying a solid foundation for the writing of this paper;in the third part,the author mainly conducted a questionnaire survey on 300 students in Beijing L Middle School and an interview survey on two music teachers in the school.In the third part,the author summarises the current situation of class choral teaching in Beijing L High School through a questionnaire survey of 300 students and an interview with two music teachers of the school.In the fourth part,the author proposes corresponding class choral teaching strategies for the current situation and causes of class choral teaching in Beijing L secondary schools,from "improving teachers’ class choral teaching level" to "optimizing class choral training methods"."In order to show the complete design of class chorus teaching,the author finally designed and demonstrated the class chorus teaching in grades 7,8 and 9.In order to demonstrate the complete design of class choral teaching,the author has designed and demonstrated three class choral teaching examples for grades 7,8 and 9,namely: "Londonderry Minor","Spring Tour" and "Snowdrop",to provide frontline teachers with theoretical basis and help for class choral teaching.
