Following the ambitious step of the 2035 vision goal of healthy China’s socialist modernization,China is in an important transition period to become a powerful country of socialist modernization in sports,and the junior high school stage is an important link and foundation project of the construction of school sports and sports power.This stage is a critical period for the rapid development of students’ personality,body and psychology,and an important period for improving students’ athletic ability,mastering various sports skills,and promoting junior high school students to develop good physical exercise behavior and habits.Effective health intervention for junior high school students at this stage can effectively promote the formation of students’ active exercise behavior and healthy life style.And have a profound impact on their future healthy life.However,the results of the eighth national students’ physical health survey show that it is urgent to solve such physical health problems as insufficient physical exercise,large regional differences,high myopia rate,rising obesity rate and declining grip strength.Therefore,this study explores the physical exercise behavior of junior middle school students in Sandu County,Guizhou by using the methods of literature,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics on the urgent practical problems such as insufficient physical exercise of junior middle school students,physical health decline and how to scientifically improve their physical exercise behavior.In order to guide junior high school students to do physical exercise,promote their physical health and establish the concept of lifelong physical education to provide a certain theoretical basis and practical guidance,the research is divided into two parts:Part One: Understand the status quo of junior high school students’ physical exercise behavior,including physical exercise motivation,frequency,duration,intensity,selection of exercise time,exercise items,exercise places and obstacle factors.The second part verifies the applicability of the theory of planned behavior in the exercise behavior theory in the physical exercise behavior of junior middle school students in Sandu County,Guizhou,explores the factors that may affect the physical exercise behavior of junior middle school students,and analyzes the influencing factors mainly from the attitude,subjective norms,perceived behavioral control and intention of physical exercise of junior middle school students.The research hypothesis is proposed according to the theory of planned behavior and related research.The results show that:(1)There are gender differences in the selection of sports that junior middle school students often participate in.Compared with female students,male junior middle school students prefer sports such as basketball and football,while female junior middle school students prefer skipping rope,badminton and volleyball.Secondly,junior high school students participate in sports mainly in the afternoon,morning and weekend holidays,and gender ratio,girls participate in sports in the morning than boys.(2)The motivation of junior middle school students to participate in physical exercise is manifested as identification motivation > external motivation > internal motivation > intake motivation;Secondly,the main factors that hinder junior high school students to participate in physical exercise are successively too much pressure from study(homework),inappropriate weather,lack of venues and lack of partners.(3)Physical exercise intensity,duration of physical exercise and physical exercise behavior of junior middle school students have significant gender differences,and the physical exercise behavior of male junior middle school students is better than that of female junior middle school students,specifically,the physical exercise behavior of students in grade one and grade three is slightly better than that of students in grade two;Secondly,there are significant differences in the intensity,time,frequency,amount of exercise,subjective norms,perceived behavioral control and intention of physical exercise among junior middle school students,while there is no significant difference in the attitude of participating in physical exercise.(4)The attitude,subjective norms,perceived behavioral control and physical exercise intention of junior middle school students were not significant in terms of gender;Secondly,there are significant differences in the intention of junior middle school students to participate in physical exercise.(5)The attitude,subjective norm and perceived behavior control of junior middle school students participating in physical exercise had a significant positive predictive effect on their intention to exercise;Secondly,the physical exercise intention and perceived behavior control of junior middle school students positively predicted their physical exercise behavior.Thirdly,middle school students’ intention to exercise has a mediating effect on their attitude,subjective norms and perceived behavior control,which plays a partial mediating role.Suggestions:(1)Promote the correct understanding of the value of physical exercise of junior middle school students by propagating the value of physical exercise,so as to improve the attitude of junior middle school students to participate in physical exercise;(2)Multiple sports activities should be organized in schools or between schools,so that junior high school students can have more opportunities to experience the charm of different sports in various aspects;(3)When students participate in physical exercise,their significant others,parents,teachers and partners should encourage and support them,and accompany them as much as possible;(4)To ensure that junior high school students participate in physical exercise time enough,the school sports facilities and sports equipment and other objective conditions to meet,improve the willingness and confidence of students to participate in physical exercise;(5)Schools or social units should provide good conditions to participate in sports and avoid the influence of objective conditions.Schools and communities should promote some sports items suitable for junior middle school students on both sides to form a good school and community sports culture.
