| Nearly half of the selected texts of tragic works in the high school Chinese textbook occupy an important position in language teaching.Tragic works not only have unique teaching value,can provide positive effects on students’ growth,but also contain profound ideological connotations,which are beneficial to enriching students’ spiritual world and improving students’ literary literacy.This paper aims to analyze the selected tragic works and teaching status of the high school Chinese textbooks,explore the teaching value and teaching principles of tragic works in the high school Chinese textbooks,and propose effective teaching strategies to promote the further development of the teaching of tragic works.Firstly,this paper selects and organizes the tragic works in the high school Chinese textbook,and analyzes the types of works according to Schopenhauer’s tragic theory.Secondly,this paper specifically analyzes the precious and unique teaching value of tragic works from four aspects:life value:awakening life consciousness,emotional value:purifying inner emotions,cognitive value:improving self-personality and aesthetic education value:improving aesthetic ability,and expounds the importance of teaching tragic works.Thirdly,this paper explores some teaching principles that should be followed when teaching tragic works,including the teaching principles of combining sensibility and rational thinking,respecting students’ individual differences,and taking into account the three aspects of two-point theory and key theory.Finally,on the basis of analyzing the teaching value and exploring the teaching principles,this paper proposes a four-step teaching strategy,namely,situation creation-creating an atmosphere suitable for tragedy,dialogue teaching-grasping the tragic fate of characters,text interpretationdeeply investigating the root causes of tragedy and emotional education-sublimating the sublime emotions of tragedy,in order to provide effective practical suggestions for actual teaching.The teaching of tragic works in high school Chinese textbooks is a part of language teaching that cannot be ignored,and this paper systematically analyzes them,hoping to contribute to high school Chinese teaching. |
