Mathematical models and the idea of mathematical models have always been valued by countries around the world.In the latest version of the "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)",China has specially divided the mathematical model idea into school segments,that is,the model awareness in primary school and the model concept in junior high school,indicating that students at different stages need to have different levels of awareness or ability.To cultivate model awareness,students can express the real world in the language of mathematics and discover the connection between mathematics and the real world,which is also the main goal and development trend of current education.There is a high degree of fit between problem-solving teaching and model awareness,which can jointly promote student learning and development.Therefore,under the guidance of national standards,this study adjusts the research content in a timely manner,which is based on model thinking,takes the cultivation of primary school mathematical model awareness as the research content,takes the middle and upper grades of primary school as the research stage,takes problem-solving teaching as the perspective,and uses literature research method,questionnaire method,interview method and case analysis method to carry out corresponding academic research.It mainly includes the following parts:The first part mainly focuses on the research background,literature review,design and significance discussion,besides explaining the theoretical basis of the core concepts and bases involved.After analyzing and understanding the relevant literature,the relationship between mathematical model ideas and primary school mathematical model consciousness is analyzed,mainly to clarify the connotation of model thinking and primary school model consciousness and the relationship between the two,and to summarize and classify the mathematical models covered in primary school mathematics textbooks,so as to make the cultivation of model awareness more grasp and more targeted.The second part is based on the theoretical basis of science,from the three stages of teaching preparation,implementation and reflection,to construct the ideal teaching process for the cultivation of awareness of mathematical models in primary schools.This process is the natural state of model awareness cultivation teaching,and it is also the reference basis for subsequent investigation and analysis of the current situation of model awareness cultivation in problem-solving teaching.The third part first investigates and analyzes the actual state of model awareness cultivation in problem-solving teaching.Firstly,a questionnaire survey of elementary math teachers was conducted from the three dimensions of mastery,cognition and behavior,and analyzed the answers.Secondly,the existing problems are found and verified from the results of teacher interviews and the actual situation of teaching cases,and the problems are analyzed accordingly.Among them,the main problems are: in the stage of teaching preparation,in the teaching content,the understanding and cognition of model consciousness is not in place;In terms of teaching objectives and teaching design,the cultivation goals and conditions of model awareness are ignored.In the teaching implementation stage and the introduction link,it is difficult to construct a diversified life problem situation,and the teacher’s guidance is too strong;In solving the process link,teachers ignore students’ initiative and focus on results,the teacher-student interaction is relatively simple,the teaching method is formalized,and the design of practice questions is more improper;Teaching strategy link,using rigid teaching methods and mechanized application;In the classroom evaluation link,the content,subject and method of evaluation are relatively single.In the stage of teaching reflection,there are mainly deficiencies in the content,subject and method of reflection.The reason for the problem is that teachers’ theoretical research on the awareness of mathematical models in primary schools and the teaching practice of model awareness cultivation are insufficient.According to the above problems and reasons,targeted optimization strategies are proposed:in terms of teaching preparation,internal preparation for the cultivation of model awareness is prepared;In terms of teaching implementation,fully realize the cultivation of model awareness;In terms of teaching reflection,it paves the way for the recultivation of model awareness.
