| PBL teaching method is a student-centered and problem-oriented teaching method.This new teaching method has greatly changed students’ passive acceptance of knowledge in traditional classroom,In the teaching process,teachers create a favorable learning environment for students,so that students can actively participate in problem situations and learn through group cooperation,and at the same time cultivate their ability of cooperation,communication and problem solving,so that they can truly become masters of the classroom.Applying PBL teaching method in basketball referee theory teaching not only meets the requirements of teaching method reform in physical education colleges,but also helps to promote the development of students’ comprehensive quality.This article applies the PBL teaching method to the theoretical teaching of basketball referees in sports colleges and universities,using questionnaire survey,expert interviews,and teaching experiments.With the 2021 level sports training professional basketball referees of Xi’an Institute of Physical Education as the experimental objects,the experimental group uses the PBL teaching method,and the control group uses the traditional teaching method to conduct an 8-week teaching experiment.Based on the research and analysis of students’ basketball referee theoretical performance,learning interest,autonomous learning ability,problemsolving ability,and cooperative communication ability,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In terms of basketball referee theory teaching,both groups of students’ basketball referee theory scores have significantly improved after the experiment,but the teaching effect of the experimental group is more significant.Therefore,the PBL teaching method is superior to traditional teaching methods in improving students’ basketball referee theory knowledge.(2)Compared with traditional teaching methods,PBL teaching method not only enables students to actively participate in the classroom,but also enhances their interest in learning basketball referees.(3)In terms of self-directed learning ability,PBL teaching method can enable students to think independently,actively explore,and actively learn knowledge in practice,effectively improving students’ self-directed learning ability.(4)In terms of problem-solving ability,PBL teaching method can use problem situations to guide students to actively think and explore,and then solve problems,effectively improving students’ problem-solving ability.(5)In terms of cooperative communication skills,implementing PBL teaching method in the basketball referee theory classroom can strengthen communication and cooperation between teachers and students,and effectively improve students’ communication and cooperation abilities. |
