As a teaching mode centered on model and modeling,modeling teaching is an important means to implement the core literacy of chemistry and change teaching methods.The modeling teaching of mind map aims to use thinking visualization tools to promote students to model independently,extract key elements under the guidance of teachers,and form a systematic,structured,explicit and related knowledge framework.In the process of construction,it promotes students to master the core concepts of chemistry,cultivates students ’ thinking ability and modeling ability,and improves their ability to solve chemical problems.Based on a large number of reading mind mapping and chemical modeling teaching literature,this paper investigates and statistically analyzes the current situation of high school chemical modeling teaching for students and teachers in a middle school in Hanzhong City,which provides a reference for the follow-up modeling teaching practice.Based on this,the teaching mode of high school chemistry modeling teaching based on mind map is taken as the research object,and the teaching principles and design strategies of this mode are put forward in combination with relevant education and teaching theories.Referring to the teaching mode of other scholars,the teaching mode suitable for this study is constructed according to the specific situation of this study.Three types of lesson examples,exercise class,experimental class and review class,are designed and teaching practice is carried out.By comparing the learning attitude and learning method of the practical object,the change of chemical modeling ability and thinking level,the effect of practical research is explored.According to the conclusion of practical research,the teaching strategy of chemical modeling based on mind map is put forward,which provides reference for the first-line chemistry teachers.Chemical modeling cases and strategies provide some inspiration for the research of modeling teaching.Based on the above conclusions :(1)Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that students have insufficient understanding of chemical models and modeling,and can not use the model method to solve chemical problems well in the learning process.Through teacher interviews,it is found that teachers have a certain understanding and understanding of models and modeling,but the development of modeling teaching is not ideal.(2)By referring to the modeling ability elements of other scholars,based on the high school chemistry curriculum standards,the scale is constructed and the corresponding test questions are designed to evaluate the high school students ’ chemical modeling ability.After teaching practice,it is found that this teaching model can improve students ’ chemical modeling teaching ability.(3)Through the post-test based on the SOLO thinking level test,it is found that the students ’thinking level has changed significantly in the correlation structure and the extended abstract structure,indicating that the chemical modeling teaching of mind mapping can improve students ’ thinking ability and change students ’ thinking mode to a certain extent.(4)Through the activity of students ’ participation in the classroom,it shows that this teaching mode can improve students ’ interest,change students ’ attitude towards chemistry learning,let students master scientific thinking methods in the process of independent construction,construct models suitable for their own cognition,promote the migration and application of chemical models,and improve the ability to solve chemical problems.
