On The Status Quo And Analysis Of The Development Of Women’s Freestyle Wrestling In Hubei Province

Since women’s freestyle wrestling was included in the official competition at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games in Greece,China has begun to take into account the selection of talents in women’s freestyle wrestling in a various of provinces and districts,and sending them to National Team to cultivate,which is expected to win medals in various international and world competitions.The women’s freestyle wrestling in Hubei Province is at the middle and upper level in the country,have providing and developing a group of renowned female wrestlers,such as Liyuyan,Xuqing,Liqing,Dengli and etc.They won excellent results in many world competitions and important domestic competitions,which not only won honor for the country and Hubei Province’s sports,but also made a significant contribution to the sustainable and healthy development of Hubei Province’s women’s freestyle wrestling.In this study,the current situation of women’s freestyle wrestling in Hubei province is deeply analyzed and explored,and various methods such as literature,interview and questionnaire survey are adopted to conduct in-depth research.Based on the current situation of women’s freestyle wrestling in Hubei Province,the restrictive factors are analyzed and solved from multiple perspectives to provide theoretical support for its development.This paper studies athletes,coaches and other aspects,combines data to analyze the situation of Hubei women’s freestyle wrestling team coaches,athletes,training and competition,infrastructure,logistics and other aspects,confirms its advantages,analyzes its shortcomings,finds out the corresponding countermeasures,and draws the following conclusions:(1)The overall level of women’s freestyle wrestling coaches in Hubei Province is good,but there are also some shortcomings that need to be further improved.The coaches of women’s freestyle wrestling teams generally have higher education,with 83% of coaches having a bachelor’s degree or above;In terms of gender structure,male coaches predominate;In teaching,teachers often rely on experience,and their innovative ability is not strong.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the combination of scientific methods and their own coaching experience.(2)The number of female freestyle wrestlers in Hubei Province is lower than that of male wrestlers;Due to difficulties in athletes selecting problems,some parents with a high proportion of only child in Hubei Province are unwilling to send their daughters to participate in wrestling events;At the same time,there are widespread problems such as the contradiction between learning and training and the way out for retired athletes.(3)There is a lack of funds in some municipal women’s wrestling teams at all levels in Hubei Province,resulting in a relatively lacking or even lack of training venues and infrastructure.Due to the limitations of focusing on the training guarantee of women’s freestyle wrestling teams in Hubei Province,it is necessary to increase capital investment,introduce more private capital or corporate sponsorship,expand funding sources,improve basic training facilities,and provide basic guarantee for the future development of women’s freestyle wrestling teams in various cities in Hubei Province..
